Chapter 332 - Acting skills

Arriving at the building where the test screen showed that Ichika had performed her acting skills. She felt anxious alone with Caelum who garnered quite the attention from the people at the building. 

It would have been weird only to spend a week together and already start to develop their feelings for him. Though, it was a stage where they weren't certain if it was love or just infatuation. 

Unlike Caelum, they were teenagers that we're unable to truly understand their own emotions and feelings.

He did not mind their patience letting them sort their emotion on their own ensuring it was a real feeling and not out of gratitude. 

If they were slightly older and exposed to the grim reality then he would likely go a different route than being a gentleman. 

"Ichika, I received your call and Is this the guy you told me about?"

Caelum spotted Ichika's manager who had recommended her to take an audition a few weeks before. He observed him intently finding his demeanor held confidence and suited for acting.

For him, it would be a walk in the park when he had the Entertainment Scripture that allowed him to maximize the end project of any entertainment media. 

The Entertainment Scripture included editing, directing, story writing, etc In other words, Caelum was a complete team when making a movie.

"Ye, this is a friend who helped me get this role."

"Is that so? I do hope you know how to at least act?"

"I'll do my best for Ichika."

Caelum glances toward her seeing how flustered her face became from his words and made her skip a beat. Even though she likes to see was weak when she was at the receiving end.  

"Then come with me since we don't have time for a screening test we'll just place you in the role of our previous actor."

They followed behind him driving them towards where the movie is currently being made, which was in the mountains where Caelum instinct told him that something was living in the place.

It was a vague guess but he was certain it was a primal ape similar to bigfoot. He decided to visit the place if ever had the chance.

Caelum noticed the young girl beside him who tried her hardest to stop her heart from pounding. She recalled the scene that was supposed to be acted and it involved a kiss. 

Though she did not actually kiss, the actor only made it seem in the final product but imagining herself doing the scene with him made her all flustered.

"Here we are."

After a few minutes arrived at where a whole team of moviemakers was busily preparing the set and cameras. He exited the car and already started to make people crane their heads out of curiosity.

Ichika told them to stay put heading his way to call the director who after a few minutes arrived scanning the newcomers head to toe. The director introduces himself as the Caelum did the same before asking him a question.

"Do you have any experience in the theater?"

"No, but I'm quite confident in acting."

"Hmmm you and ichika come with me, I'll do a quick test before starting and if you did not pass then I'll think of a way to include you."

The two headed their way to a small area where Caelum was handed a script of the scene skimming through the whole content, memorizing every detail and things to change. Before the director could sit down after handing the script surprised to see Caelum hand back the script.

"What are you doing?"

"I already memorize every single detail."

"What!? How can you memorize that fast? A minute hadn't even passed by!?"

"It's because of my photographic memory allowing me to remember everything."

"If that's the case then show me what you got. I'll count to three then start alright?"

Caelum nodded, heading back to Ichika slightly nervous but took a deep breath to calm herself as she was in the moment of acting and changed her demeanor. 

The most vital part of an actor is their ability to change emotion and personality that you would not even realize that they're completely different people in person. 

For someone like Caelum who refined his mind and emotion that he is unable to be overtaken by simple anxiety unless it was beyond normal. 

He took a deep breath changing his demeanor surprising Ichika who was confused as the person was Caelum yet at the same time not. It was a perfect shift of character for Caelum.

"...3..2..1.action!"

"I-I can't let you die like this!! Please run, I'll hold them off."

Caelum acted unfazed by Ichika's reaction, who blushed to feel the emotion being poured into the acting as if they were the character themselves. 

"Wait if you're going to die then let me say!"

She acted her part quite well pouring her emotion even shedding a tear imagining what would happen if he were true to sacrifice his life for her. the pain would have been unbearable.

Ichika then felt his hand wrap itself around her waist, shocked at his action before her eye went wide when she could feel his wet lips with her tasting the sweet of his tender lips. 

It was a quick and simple kiss yet the impact it made on her was more than simple. She wanted more at the same blush since her first kiss was taken by him. 

Once their lips departed, she could see his gaze held with emotion that was difficult to be understood by many. It was sincere care and love for someone who you would die for.  The

"It's alright, I promised to come back b-but if I don't."

"No! I can't let you go!!"

Her words were not in the script anymore and did not realize that she was letting her true feelings for Caelum come out. It had only been a whole month since they had spent together yet their bonds had already reached a level of love.  

He understood it was her true feelings and decided to hug her to calm her senses letting Ichika feel his strong arms wrapping themselves around her and feel safe. 

The director who was watching felt invested in their performances. He knew the two would be a perfect pair for his movie. 

Meanwhile as Ichika came to her senses slowly let go of the tight hug and felt his rough hand caress her cheek wiping the tears on her eyes. 

"Don't worry I'll always be there for you even without me beside you."

His last word struck her heart causing her breath to be restless especially from his every action that held emotion that she had not seen him express.

"Bravo! Bravo! That was amazing! I never expected that it would be such an invested scene! You passed with flying colors!"

The director frantically yelled out and never felt excited in seeing someone act before. He had made a few movies before and this was the only time he wanted to see more from someone.

"I'll give you a few minutes to prepare then we can start the scene. You need to change into your costumes and ichika can help bring them to the costume department."

"A-Alright, Caelum come with me."

The two left the director while walking silent towards the costume department as Ichika tried to calm herself from recalling the scene they acted in.

"Are you okay, Ichika? Do you need to lie down?"

Caelum's personality returned to his usual self as Ichika took a quick glance before turning again blushing. She touched his lips recalling the sensation and taste of Caelum lips.

'Is that what a man's lips feel like? I...I want to experience it again.'

"Ah, sorry about the kiss I got into character and I forgot to ask for your consent."

"I-I don't mind…those words you said...would ever say it to any of your lovers, Masa-kun."

"Of course! I will do anything for them be it slaughtering an entire demon or fighting a god."

Without a moment of hesitation, his conviction did not yield showing how vital every single one of his lovers was to him. He never took credit for their love and always found a way to better himself for them. 

Ichika hearing his words wonder if she were one of his lovers would he still say the same?

'I...I wonder what I'm feeling is love?"

She touched her pounding heart and visioning herself around his embrace while living together and having her dream fulfilled.

'The festival is coming soon...I'll make sure to confess at that time.'
