So where do we go after we die? There are a lot of theories on that matter Most people all over the world assume that the dead move on to the after life. Chapter 39

Ah, the weekend. Two beautiful days away from school. Two days for Shino to let waste away. Two days to laze around and do absolutely nothing. Two days to sleep as long as she could and only leave her room when hunger was overbearing. She loved the weekend. Especially after her victory at the sports festival. As much as she loved the weekend she could not wait for Monday. Internships were soon approaching and she was looking forward to it. She didn't know who she would choose. She planned in choosing one of her parents though. Maybe her mom.

Shino put all that aside and decided to sleep through Saturday. She had it all planned out. She would wake up at some random hour and gather as much sweets she could get away with into her room. She would only snack on them if needed to. Once that was finished she crashed into her bed and let out a purr of content. The weekend was going to be great

Sadly there was a dent in her plans. She could not fall asleep. She had been sprawled out on her bed for over thirty minutes and could not sleep. She had been staring at the same spot on the ceiling for the entire time and hardly blinked. She groaned in frustration and buried her head in her pillows. She was so freaking exhausted, but she could not sleep.

Why?!

Of all the days for her thoughts to just decide to torture her. It just had to be Saturday.

"Stop thinking. Stop thinking. Stop thinking "

She repeated the mantra over and over again, but alas her brain kept spewing thoughts at her. With a growl she threw herself out of bed and got her notebook at the ready.

"Alright then. If that's how it's going to be" She muttered with a glare as she began to scribble down her thoughts. She could never organize herself if she didn't write her thoughts down. There were too many at the same time, making it impossible to distinguish one from the other.

"Quirk ideas? "

She had scribbled down an entire list without even noticing. One in particular had her interest piqued. Cloud creation was the name she had unconsciously given it. The quirk did as the name said. It gave her the ability to create clouds by using the water particles in the air. The more water particles collected the bigger the cloud. She could also make it as dense as she desired successfully creating her own nimbus cloud. The idea was very appealing to her. She could just create a cloud and fly around for fun. Without a second thought she marked it as a possible quirk to add to her arsenal.

Another quirk idea caught her attention

She dubbed it mutated hormones. It would give her full control over her body's chemistry, making it possible to create whatever kind of chemical tool she may need on the fly, by extracting her own blood, as well as changing the physicall properties of her own body, like bonestructure, muscle mass, color of the skin/hair, even gender. However only within the boundries of what would be realistic for a normal human to have.

Mutated hormones was even more appealing to her. It literally gave her the ability to biologically produce a child without the assistance of a male. She could change her height. Hair color. Eye color and basically anything else. Why hadn't she thought of that before?

"This is genius"

Her frustration about not being able to sleep was soon forgotten as she went over the many quirk ideas she had. Most of them were genius ideas and would absolutely benefit her in any situation. She marked a couple off as quirks she would add on later. There was no need for them at the moment and creating more quirks would only wear her out more than she already was.

From quirks she moved on to thoughts about the future. She hadn't really been thinking about it that much. She was just going with the flow and doing her own thing. Knowing the course of her timeline does not mean she should just blindly follow it. She has her own life to live. Her own morals. Her own dreams and goals. Besides, everything already changed since her birth.

She knows what the future holds and she knows she's going to change it, no matter what. That's all there is to it. She was the ripple in time and just being alive was enough to change everything.

She'll have to come up with a hero name soon enough. She had no clue what to call herself. She was thinking of naming herself after some deity or another like her parents. Then there was always the obvious choice of some spider incorporated name.

Shino sighed and closed her notebook. Her wrist were starting to ache the longer she sat there writing. She had filled over ten pages and still did not relieve herself from her thoughts. A frustrating thing.

She put her notebook away and flexed her wrists. She was obviously not getting any sleep any time soon. Her parents aren't at home and the boys were off having a boys weekend or something. They absolutely refused to let her know anything about their plans. She didn't let it bother her. They're boys. They needs to do their own thing. But it meant Shino didn't have much to do.

"Welp, I still have Momo"

Shino threw on a hoodie and stuffed a random backpack. She pulled on some sneakers and left her room. The urge to leave through the window was strong, but she couldnt just leave without a word. Momo would scold her for such a thing. She didn't enjoy being scolded by her busty friend.

"Kinji, Kina I'm heading over to the Yaoyorozu estate! "

Shino didn't wait for replies as she casually left the house. She greeted Kuro, who was busy in the garden.

"Are you in need of my assistance, young master? "

"No, no. I'm fine. Thanks for asking "

She left her estate completely and shot off into the sky soon after. She made sure her backpack was securely fastened to her shoulder as she freefalled for some moments. She couldn't risk losing her backpack after all.

In less than seven minutes she was attached to the side of the Yaoyorozu mansion just under Momo's window. She would definitely get yelled at for her next move, but it was always so amusing to startle Momo. She would always get so flustered.

Shino chuckled to herself as she carefully of peeled the window open and slid into the spacious bedroom. Momo was seated at her desk totally unaware of the intrusion. Shino grinned as she prepared for her scare.

"Hey there Momo"

Shino sniggered when Momo let out a squeak of surprise and almost slipped out of her chair. She took a step back when a glare was aimed at her.

"Shino! "

Shino fell into full blown laughter at the redness gathered on Momo's face. It never gets old.

"That's not very funny. I told you to stop startling me like that " Momo huffed in annoyance.

"How could I when your entire reaction is so adorable? " Shino smirked as Momo's face increased in redness. "You let out such a cute yelp and then your face gets impossibly red. I find all of that so very adorable "

"Stop that"

"Stop what? "

"Stop teasing me"

"Why would I do that? "

"It's embarrassing "

"That's the point of it" Shino sat at the edge of Momo's desk now. "How else am I supposed to see that adorable blush of yours? "

Shino couldn't stifle her laughter when Momo's face reached the darkest shade of red yet. She was absolutely amazed by the amount of blood rushing to Momo's face.

"Aren't I a great flirt? "Shino chuckled as she removed herself from the desk

"Why are you here Shino? " Momo sighed and tried to regain her composure. She could never understand if Shino did the things she did purely for her amusement or if she might actually have an interest in her.

"Mom and dad are on a mission. The boys are off doing their own thing. And my thoughts won't let me sleep. So here I am" Shino fell back onto Momo's bed.

"Is there something specific you want to do? "

"Sleep"

"But your thoughts won't let you"

"Sadly "

"Anyway I can help?"

Shino hummed happily at the offer.

"Yes there is actually " Shino smiled brightly and rolled onto her side. "Care to join me? "

Momo gave Shino an appraising look before closing the book she was reading.

Shino let out a happy sigh when Momo took place next to her. She immediately snaked her arms around her and buried her face in the crook of her neck.

"Will I ever get to be the big spoon? " Momo asked even as melted into Shino's embrace.

"I like being the big spoon and I know you love being the little spoon" Shino mumbled in reply.

"Even so" Momo pressed closer to Shino. Her body temperature was higher than most. It was a comfortable warmth. One she enjoyed. With her new closeness Momo felt a rumbling in Shino's chest and soon heard something akin to a purr. She turned around in Shino's arms and pressed her ears to Shino's chest. She widened her eyes in shock.

"Are you purring? "

Shino chuckled at the bewildered look on Momo's face.

"Yes. Yes I am"

"But how?"

"I have many talents"
