"I don't know, she just left me here in the middle of whatever this is," I whine into the phone. The music is not too loud, so I can hear Colm clearly. I know why I came here with Tala.
I did it because for the past three years, I have been latching onto her in the hopes that she would move on from this with me.
I know what she is going through and I know what she has done to herself. Tala is still in denial and she has shut off her humanity.
I have been a friend to her because she needs people. Colin is in the shadow pack with his mate and Colm isn't really her friend--or rather, she doesn't want to open up to him.
"Go find her,'' he tells me, there is worry in his voice.
He is just as worried as everyone else in the compound. Her dads have tried talking to her, Her uncles. She doesn't want to admit that she needs help, so there is really not much that anyone can do.
