Chapter 12

(Sarah's POV)

I just lay in bed wallowing in my sadness. I feel bad for yelling at my brother, but I wasn't hungry at all. I don't want to eat anymore, not even to live.

But I have to, I have to be here for my baby sisters.

I looked at the clock to see it was 8:30 PM, it's time for the babies to go to bed. I slowly got out of bed. I went to the bathroom to wash my face.

I head downstairs slowly to see my brother fall asleep on the couch and the babies sleeping in their playpen.

I picked up Katrina first and took upstairs to her crib then I went to grab Becky. I put Becky in her crib and look at them both. I smiled sadly "You will one day know how much mom and dad loved you two dearly."

I went to my brother's room and got his pajamas and his bed ready for him.

I went back downstairs and stood over my brother.

"Bubba wake up." I softly said.

Alec wakes up rubbing his eyes and looks at me sadly.

I sit down beside him and lay my head on his shoulder.
