Luckily for her, she got another chance as she reincarnated. When she came back to life, she doesn't recognize her surroundings nor the people around her. When she saw herself, she finally found that the body her soul entered was not her's but instead it belonged to an Elf. An Elf whom all the other Elves bully as a Good-for-nothing. It doesn't matter if she was a Good for nothing because her own talent was enough to strive any environment by herself. But what matters is that both the Magical clans Witches and Elves were said to be rivals for around thousands of years for now. How could she survive being a member of a rival clan? She thus starts a brand new journey of being an elf while using her techniques that she learned being a witch. She moves on finding the reason behind her death and the person who was responsible for the same. She continues proving everyone that she not only could be the Greatest of all the Witches but she could also be the Greatest of all Elves- of course by using a little, just a little, of her witchcraft. But can she stop by just being the Greatest of Witches and Elves? Maybe she could go beyond that? Follow her journey to find more... The Witchy Elf - Why just a Witch or an Elf when she can be both? The Serpents' Lair 5

If an Elf says that she wants to make a potion like a Witch, what would come to this world?

Hence Tanzi couldn't tell the truth about the matter.

But the Serpent man looked like he would not allow her in dodging from answering this question.

So, she had to say something.

She mustered up her courage and mumbled, "I heard they are beautiful."

The man chuckled and released her chin. He softly traced a line over cheek using her finger looking straight into her lowered eyes as he said, "So this beautiful lady wants to find some beautiful flowers?"

'Huh? Did this man just try to flirt with me?' Tanzi rolled her eyes in her heart. If it was in her previous life, she would have taken her wand out and burned him to death the moment his fingers touched her skin.

But this time, she was at a disadvantage for the first time in both her lives combined. She had no other choice but to stay low and calm.

She needs to wait until she gets a chance to strike back. Until then, she had to behave like a submissive person who was weak and frail.

Of course pretending to be weak in front of an enemy is also a great strategy in a fight. Until now, she did not get the chance to use this strategy because she would always have an upper hand no matter whom she had fought.

She always had a regret in her heart that could never use such a beautiful strategy before.

Now that she got the chance, she had to use it, right?

Thus her eyes which were lowered and hidden from the prying green eyes of the Serpent man in front had a slight shift in them.

She meekly nodded her head in approval while gently biting her lower lip.

The way her body was trembling in his hands and her lips that turned red from biting, which were slightly shivering, gave a spark to the Serpent man's deep green eyes.

His lips curved upwards in a sinister way as he looked at her lips lecherously, "Sure, if that is what you want. I would not mind sharing a few of our flowers with you."

Tanzi raised her head and asked him excitedly, which of course was only for a show, "Really?"

Her childlike excitement brought some of his deeply hidden emotions surging outside as his smile grew wider, "Yes. I never go back on my words. You can ask everyone else if you don't trust me."

With that he turned his head to take a glance at the 'empty space' in their surroundings.

Tanzi wanted to laugh so badly when she saw how empty and plain the place was but she controlled herself and looked innocently at the same place and asked, "Is what he said true?"

With her meek voice, everyone felt their hearts melt, of course the serpent man would be the first in line.

But the other snakes came back to their senses immediately. Why would they trust her acting? They had already seen how much of a true demoness she actually was.

Even though they did not see her being 'really cruel', for the innocent creatures like themselves, she was already on the par with a demoness.

From the pure white snow, a few little heads came out as their eyes looked at the Demoness and then at the Serpent man who has always been a Demon in their lives.

The only thought everyone had in their minds was, 'They look like they are a perfect match.'

But of course that was only a fleeting thought because they had already become a bunch of good friends with Tanzi earlier during their little 'party'.

They wanted to so badly shake their heads to her question but then again they saw the warning in the Demon's eyes and changed their minds.

Hence all the snakes' heads nodded before going back to hide themselves under the snow once again.

How could Tanzi not understand the meaning behind their actions? The corner of her lips twitched looking at the once again 'clean and clear' space in front.

She got her expression back before she turned her head towards the Serpent man.

"Did you see that? As I said, I would never go back on my words. I said that I would give you a few flowers, then I would give them. But what are you going to give me in return?" He asked slowly, almost like a whisper near her ears.

Tanzi had goosebumps all over her skin while she closed her eyes subconsciously as she asked, "In return? I should give? What should I give?"

The Serpent man realized that she was slowly falling into his trance as he had expected and his smile grew wider. He traced his index finger slowly from her chin to her cheeks before muttering in her ears, "You."
