The Greatest Witch 3

Everyone looked at them with eyes filled with hope in expectations of forgiving them.

Violet and Tanzi were at a loss for words under their intense gaze.

It was not like they were offended by their words or something. They were still in the process of accepting the presence of all of them around.

They came to them like a cyclone and started speaking something all at once. In short, neither of the two could even catch what they were saying.

How could they feel offended when they did not even understand what had said?

Now that they all suddenly said 'sorry' in unison and were looking at them earnestly, it was their time to feel guilty.

Guilty that they had to 'make' all of them apologize to themselves; which they definitely did not.

Tanzi coughed a couple of times and Violet came back to her senses with the help of her sound.

She then looked at the crowd in front and shook her head, "no no, it is okay. We don't feel bad for..," she paused and looked at Tanzi. She really doesn't know what she doesn't feel for.

When she looked at Tanzi for help, she too shook her head as she too was in the same boat as her.

Hence Violet took it upon herself and continued, ".. anything?" She looked at Tanzi for confirmation to which she finally got a nod as a reply. "Yes, we don't feel bad for anything."

She nodded her head repeatedly to show that they really did not mind for whatever they thought of.

Seeing her gesture, everyone's eyes shone brightly as if they were looking at the most generous person in the entire world.

They once again started speaking in a frenzy with each other.

"Wow. Our saviours are not only beautiful and brave but they are also very generous."

"Yes yes. Otherwise how can they forgive us so easily?"

"Right? They are really very good hearted."

Once again Violet and Tanzi did not understand what they were talking about as they felt like they were watching a crosstalk show.

Looking at all the birds and animals chirping around them, they started to have a mild headache and Violet once again took it upon herself to address the issue with them.

"Umm, so, what do you all want to say? Can we leave now?"

Instantly the chatter around them stopped as they all turned back to look at the girl while blinking their eyes.

Maybe they themselves too forgot about the topic for what they came there for as they thought for a few seconds.

It was a rabbit that strode forwards and spoke to Violet, "Savior, we are here to thank you."

Once all the other animals heard the rabbit's words, they came to a realization as they kept on nodding their heads.

"Yes yes. Thankful."

"Thankful."

"Yes saviors, we are thankful."

"Yes yes, that's what I wanted to say too."

"You shut up. You didn't even remember anything."

"How do you know that? I definitely remember everything. It is just that my voice was so low and none of you heard it. That's all."

"Is that so? Then how can we hear you enough now?"

"Umm.. that.."

"Okay okay. We know that you will start speaking bullshit now anyway. So just shut up."

"Hey, what did my shit do in the middle?"

"Whatever, you bull. You too just shut up. You stink too much when you speak."

"I stink? Why do I stink? Is your nose even working properly?"

"Did you see? I told you that you can't hear my voice. You did not hear it again."

"Yeah right. It is because you did not say anything, you buffoon."

"I definitely said but it is you that did not hear."

"Is that so? Then why don't you…."

Before a mini war broke out in front of them, Violet shouted suddenly, "Stop it."

"Oh no! We were being disrespectful towards our saviors by ignoring them."

"Disrespectful."

"Disrespectful."

"Disrespectful."

"Disrespectful."

Violet sighed looking at the mess in front of her. They just came here for an adventure and almost lost their lives. Now that her life was finally safe, why is she stuck in between all these animals?

She shook her hands in front of them, "no no. It is not like you are disrespectful or anything. It is just that we want to leave now. Can we?"

Tanzi kept quiet all the time and calmly stood behind Violet.

She is a person that could face even the most ferocious beast with a blank face without worrying nor sweating. But when it comes to crowds, socializing or enthusiastic people, she could never be able to face them calmly.

Violet too knows her habits and that is the reason she let her stand behind her and talked with all the animals in front of them.
