Demonic plan

The inner city consisted of the house of branch families within the Ice Phoenix Clan. These places were inaccessible without obtaining prior permission from the elders of each branch family.

Thus, Aru and Maya quickly passed through the inner city and reached the gate leading to the outer city. 

Aru's goal in coming to the outer city was to analyse the market and gain comprehensive knowledge about the state of the world. More importantly, he could learn what money could buy in this world.

In his previous life, most of the problems could be solved by money. He wanted to check if it was the same here.

After a brief security check, the trio consisting of Aru, Maya and Jaya left the inner city. They didn't bring Lith along into the outer city.

However, Aru's face didn't look good as they exited the city. His mind was preoccupied by the people following behind them stealthily.

'What do they want with me?'
