A night has passed since Maya promised to take Aru out of the city. It was a long night, and he was excited to find the chance to explore.

Previously, he was planning to sneak out. But he wouldn't have to do that because of the cooperation with Maya.

He promptly went to the hot springs and took a nice bath. Wearing nice clothes, he walked to the garden where they were supposed to meet.

It didn't take long for Aru to find Maya, standing over to the side with Lith behind her. 

"Hey." He smiled and waved at her. 

"You came early?" Aru was expecting him to be the first to come.

"Yes. Before we go to the outer city, I need to see your skills first." Then she pointed at the frost willow within the garden.

'Oh! She chose this place to be the meeting place deliberately,' Aru understood the implication of her words. 

She was saying that the deal would fall through if he couldn't convince her that he could tame the frost willow.
