Aftermath

The Emperor and everyone who joined him to the summer hunt returned to Capital City on the next day. His return was escorted by General Yang and his soldiers.

Outside the city's wall, the imperial guards lined, creating a safety border to welcome the Emperor and everyone else. Qin Zhi Chen stood at the front with Zhou Ming and the four commanders from the five squads.

The Emperor's face turned serious as looked around the city. Seeing that his people were not harmed within these past few days, the Emperor breathed in relief. Then, a dangerous look appeared in his eyes as he thought about what his son had tried to do when he was absent.

After he had returned to the palace, the Emperor had called Zhou Ming along with the four commanders to the palace to figure out the situation in Capital City during his absence.
