Chapter 32

"... Damn you!!!" Galactus yelled while firing multiple cosmic beams towards Ashborn he in turn either dodged or intercepted them using his Umbrakinesis. Most of the time he just uses his sword to cut it down. Seeing his cosmic beans are ineffective, Galactus decided to use a different approach so after his arm regenerated back he tried to use reality wrapping power to literally snap Ashborn from existence, but to his surprise, he found that his power is being resisted it means his opponent has Reality warping powers too.

Finding no other choice the giant cosmic being headed for a close combat fight. After instantly arriving Infront of Ashborn he sent a punch with his giant hand aiming to deal some damage. Ashborn in turn simply disappeared from his position and appeared above him, sending a powerful kick aiming for his head. Galactus was stunned in his place as he didn't think his opponent would simply disappear so he forgot to dodge. And with a *BOOM* He was sent flying across the Galaxy but Ashborn was not the one to let the chances slip away so he followed with swords floating Infront of him. As such their battle continued. Sometimes they go into close combat, sometimes reality wrapping, and Galactus occasionally sends some of his beams. Although they fought for hours none of them were exhausted and they both know that this fight will get to nowhere, As they're both immortals. Suddenly Ashborn noticed a familiar-looking ant flying through space towards him at high speed while holding something: "My lord!!!" He yelled already nearing their location.

Galactus was confused about who's the fight intruder and how an ant could fly into space.

"Did you get it?" Ashborn asked immediately not to waste any time. "Of course My liege, I would never disappoint you." Beru said while handing a weird-looking artifact to Ashborn, Galactus who was observing their interaction while catching his breath couldn't believe what he saw: "I-Impossible!!" He said.

"Oh It's possible, Believe me, it is. You see my subordinates can be a bit... Slippy, As after noticing a certain giant fool who didn't bring his weapon with him to a fight, I thought he didn't need it. Maybe he didn't bring it because of arrogance thinking he didn't need it. Or maybe it was because of something else... Fear maybe?" Ashborn said with an amused voice while Observing the sweating giant.

"... You, I don't know how you got your hands on that but believe me you don't know what you're playing with..." Before Galactus could continue he was cut off "Ultimate Nullifier right? Oh, I know what it is, that's why I ordered my loyal ant to 'borrow it' from your base. Now, That's aside, why don't we think of a more civil way to deal with our differences rather than this meaningless fighting?"

"... Fine, Tell me your terms Shadow Monarch." Galactus said while relaxing his muscles a bit.

"Well how about this, I will give you your weapon back, and in return, you will never come near My empire and you owe me 2 favors not too absurd but not small either." Ashborn said in a relaxed voice while Observing the artifact between his hands.

Hearing his proposal Galactus fell to a deep silence and thought carefully about the terms but deep down, the fear he had for the ultimate Nullifier clouded his judgment: "... Fine, But remember not an absurd favor. You have my word that I will not touch any planet under your kingdom. Now give me the damn weapon before you accidentally blast the universe off!"

"Splendid, I hope the next time we meet will be when you will be fulfilling your end of the deal. Goodbye." Ashborn said while making the universe-destroying weapon float towards Galactus who sighed in relief and cursed himself for not hiding it better. Then without saying anything more he blasted off to who knows where.

"As expected for my king, He could battle gods with no problem." Beru said with literal stars in his eyes. Ashborn replied simply ignoring the fan ant: "... Let's head back, Back to my shadow." And with that said he vanished from his position.

Now, many will be wondering why didn't Ashborn just kill him with that universe-destroying weapon. Well it was for several reasons that will not all be mentioned, But one of them is that killing an immortal being like Galactus isn't easy and besides he's important for the cycle of life of the universe. As for the weapon, it's actually a one-shot weapon and it comes with a great cost. (A huge amount of life force)
