CHAPTER 30
"You had us worried, dear. How dare you just walk off like that?"
"Mom, I'm not a kid anymore. I've been training for these."
"But that doesn't mean that you would put yourself in danger anytime, and you won't even—"
"--Would you scold me in front of my friend?" Lorna glared at the other woman. The doctor then turned to Melisca.
With an apologetic smile, she said, "I'm sorry, it's just my daughter running around to who knows where without informing us."
She only nodded and averted her sight somewhere else as she gulped the rising bump in her throat.
"Rico, ready the room, please."
Without another word, the guy entered the other door on the left side.
"May I know your name, darling?" The doctor asked sweetly.
It irked Melisca's ears. She's not fond of sweet words towards her. "Liz." She answered shortly.
"Liz, I'm Doctor Vera, as you just knew, Lori's mother. Take a seat for a while." She stated as she walked to the table and poured a glass of water.
The woman offered it to Liz, and she gladly accepted for the thirst and hunger that she's in now.
"Where are you from?" Vera fetched the folder and took notes of all the new girl would say.
"Vrona." Liz is a woman of short words, she guessed.
As the short question goes, Lorna was just sitting comfortably on the sofa while playing with her phone.
"Doctor, it's all settled." Rico reappeared and announced.
The woman clapped her hands once and exclaimed, "Now, let's go."
Lorna turned off her phone and looked at Liz, gesturing for her to follow them.
With each step, Melisca's heartbeat thudded louder than the last thump.
They all entered the room. A dental examination chair settled in the middle of the enclosed walls, with straps at both sides for the arms and feet.
She alerted all her senses, remaining close to the door in case the situation arose for her to take immediate action and escape.
"What's this about?"
"We are just going to ask you questions, Liz." Lorna rubbed her arm. She knew the woman's scared by the horrified look in her eyes. Anyone would be if they saw the interrogation chair.
"Then why are we here? You can ask me without being held down by that."
Panic started rising in her body as she recalled being held down by a group of thugs nine years ago. There were huge random hands before her eyes, chaining her down on the grass in the dark of the forest. Humans who had carried her and brought her to the woods.
She was too weak and hadn't eaten anything, and she just lost her father then. Only a week had passed, and her mental state was at the bottom of the darkest pit. Even her wolf strength was no match for the much larger men who caressed her fragile body roughly with their calloused hands.
"Your mommy and daddy don't care about you, huh, honey? They let you wander on the road at night." One of the men said, who was gripping both her hands above her head, her wrists sore from the chain-like tightness of his fingers.
The two other men were both at her sides, ripped her t-shirt open, and as her stomach flesh displayed, a hand brushed her skin. The men laughed as she flinched from his touch.
"I bet she liked it. She hasn't uttered any word from earlier that we snatched her off the road, even now that we are touching her."
"Maybe she's mute."
"Then what lucky bastards we are."
"That's why her parents abandoned her. Maybe because she's useless, but her beauty would be worthwhile. What an angelic face she got." Another man caressed her face with the back of his hands. She looked at him with dead eyes. "And the silky smooth skin." His palm crawled down to her shoulder blades. "She already got the chest of a grown woman. What a plump, perky one, let us see."
A tear dropped from her eyes to the side of her face. She didn't know where that came from or how when she felt numb all over, she just felt nothing. She's too far gone.
The man arched her back to take off her bra strap, and he succeeded, her breast now on full display before the eyes of the maniacs.
Two hands grabbed both of her globes and played with her tits.
"If you survived, what would you do? What would you become?" She heard one of them ask with pity in his voice.
Kill. A voice from the bottom of the pit emerged. The familiar voice in her head that she hadn't heard for a week resurrected. 'Kill them, a life for a life, remember?' Melisca blinked her eyes as her breathing became ragged. She then just felt her heartbeat thump. An organ was still banging for her system to live.
"Kill." Her raspy voice almost went unrecognizable by her ears. So the voice in her head was hers.
"Did you hear it? She talked, man." One of the men pointed out while looking at the others.
The bearded man above her, who held down her hands, pulled something from the back of his pocket, a piece of towel, and shoved it down to her mouth, forcing it open. She remained stubborn until a hand pinched her nose, and she had no choice but to breathe through her lips, so the man found the opportunity to insert the towel. She had bitten him as his thumb grazed her teeth, which got a stinging slap to her cheeks. The vibrating smack resonated in her head as she felt her face swell from the burning pain from his attack.
"Don't hurt that pretty face man. It's just a tiny playful bite." A chuckle from the guy made the others laugh.
The man at the side of her pulled down her pants. She started to writhe, tugging her hands from the tight fingers that held them. Another hand covered her mouth to not spit the cloth that was shoved down her throat. Her muffled voice with her body struggling to fight desperately made tears flow from her eyes uncontrollably.
This was too much. Both from werewolves and humans alike. The pain she had gone through and now the disgusting situation they would make her experience.
She tugged and tugged as her body wriggled, squirmed and jerked from the revulsion of their hands and saliva that their tongues were sneaking to her flesh.
Summoning all the strength she had if she still did, for the last time, she gave it all by yanking her hands and legs.
Melisca succeeded in freeing her hands, the man grunted above her with wide eyes as she overcame his strength. Without any time to waste, she sat down and was about to kick the other two mortals that held her limbs down, but they abruptly let go and jumped back when they saw her face.
Their visions were like saucers and the contorted expressions on their faces seemed like they were looking at a monster. In an instant, she jumped at one of the maniacs and they both landed on his back to the ground. She sat on top of him, and her eye caught a glimpse of rock as big as a soccer ball, with no hesitation, she picked it up with both hands, the heaviness felt nothing as she slammed the object to his head.
She had too much of all of these. The man beneath her lay still as blood spurted out of his broken skull. The other two screamed at what they had witnessed and started to stand up clumsily from the horror.
In a blink of an eye, she moved to the next target, jumped on his running back, she held his jaw and the back of his head. In a mere second, she twisted his neck and a cracking sound was loud enough to be heard by the remaining human alive.
She took off from his body before it fell lifeless on the dirt.
"Monster!" The last man screamed as he ran to end up with his friend's fate.
Melisca grabbed a piece of a thick dry tree branch, the pointed edge was why she chose it to be her weapon. Her ears followed the footsteps of the man, he was not that far in the woods.
As he ran for his life, he kept looking behind him if the monster girl was on his tail. When he was about to look forward again, he cried out of terror as he came face to face with the girl.
Melisca wrapped her fingers around his neck and slammed his back to the nearby tree, he grunted from the force. The words were stuck in his throat, couldn't beg for his life, and he could barely breathe.
She stared at his terrified eyes while the man desperately tried to pry her hands off his neck. Looking deeply into his pupils, she spotted her reflection. The ring of gold devoured her obsidian eyes. The intense yellow burning was why they had seen her as a monster.
Melisca raised her hand that gripped the stick-like weapon. The man's eyes almost went out of their sockets, tears falling and his lips trembled nonstop, with mouth agape. His begging look was not apprehended when the girl before him struck the piece of the trunk to his heart, through the back and pinned him to the tree. The silent scream in his expression was the face of his death. Blood poured down to the ground and she removed her hand from his neck.
The guy was nailed to the thick tree and she glanced at the direction of the other two men. She pulled out the stick she used and dragged the lifeless man to his friends. Melisca threw him beside the other corpses.
"Puny humans." She mumbled with a calm hard face as she stared at what she did.
Hi! Thank you so much for the powerstones, votes, and support. But I also need gifts, guys. It would help Melisca a lot.
