Chapter 84: Or was it taken by the dragon?
"That's not going to work." A voice called out just as the tip of Kalon's sword hit the tree trunk. Suddenly a wave of hot air circled around Kalon's body and pushed him back as if he was hit by a blast of Qi.
Kalon soared through the air for a few moments before plummeting down into the freezing cold water of the lake behind him. He splashed his arms around for a moment as he panicked slightly as he was blinded by the coldness, but as he realised that he landed in the water and was completely safe, he calmed down enough and immediately started to swim back to shore.
"I told you so." The voice called out again as Kalon climbed up onto the grass while water dripped down his body from head to toe. His clothes weighed significantly more than they did a few moments ago, and he felt terrible as his clothes stuck to his body.
