Fainting unexpectedly

Merry consulted with Mrs. Miller about the pills and the problems she was having because of those pills. But Mrs. Miller simply said that she was suffering from simple side effects which were not abnormal.

And Merry also decided that if she had to take the pills in order to gain powers despite the slight side effects, she would do it without any reservation. She thought if she had no way out except to go through, she was up for it.

Cole had also observed that Merry had been looking more and more sick as the days passed by.

"Are you okay?" Cole asked her one morning when she came out of her room later than usual. That day Cole had his lessons in the afternoon so he was pretty much free in the morning and was just chilling in the living room.

Merry was taking doddering steps, small steps as if even the small movement was hurting her greatly. It looked like even to walk up to the kitchen from her room was very hard for her.
