A room which is uncomfortably quiet and a girl who is even more so weirdly quiet, other than her breathing nothing shows that she is alive. But inside her head there is a storm brewing ever since she decided to get out of that place. People with super powers. Not an imagination anymore?? People having powers divided between the evil path and the path of righteousness?? In the midst of all this, a blooming heartwarming romance as the saying goes 'Even in the times of war, love is still there.' So let's go on a journey together with me to further find out- Who's the girl? Why is she trying to leave? What will the future hold for her? ------------------------------------------------------------ "Stop!" she said to him. "First, tell me how do you know about these things." "You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her. Even after waiting to hear her reply for about a minute, when he didn't hear anything he said, "It's because you don't remember the things you have seen." "Then tell me everything. Everything that I have forgotten." she replied. ------------------ Image by Sunny Daye from Pixabay.
The first thing she noticed when entering the room was the white walls and the eye hurting bright lights.
She was squinting her eyes trying to see around the room. There were bunk beds lined up against the wall.
It certainly looked like seven or eight people were staying there. She could even see three beds occupied with kids who looked around the age of ten or eleven.
Unfortunately, she couldn't see the boy she had met last week in the test room. She guessed, maybe he will also be brought here like her later perhaps.
She wanted to speak with the kids but didn't know what to say and they looked busy among themselves. So she just walked pass them and sat at the most furthest bed in the room.
Her mind was filled with a lot of thoughts and she was confused with this whole situation.
Just then the door opened, few other around her age and some younger than her entered the room. Among them she saw the boy whom she had been anticipating to meet.
She felt kind of a relief that at least there's someone with a familiar face in that unfamiliar place.
The boy also looked around her direction and when he met her eyes, he made his way towards her.
"Hi! " he said waving his hand.
In return, she also waved her hand. She had so many questions on her mind that she couldn't even decide what to ask first.
He looked at her puzzled face for a second then took a seat on the same bed she was sitting, a little too closer than she preferred.
"Hey! we meet again," she said somewhat awkwardly.
"Yeah."
"Where were you this whole time? I expected to see you in the test room but after that day, you totally disappeared."
"The dates for the tests are completely on random days. So I couldn't possibly know about them. But hold on, last time I saw you you were not even ready to believe a thing I say and now it looks like you were wanting to meet me."
"I don't know who to ask for answers." "So, tell me! What is this place?" she asked him.
Without answering her he looked at her trying to figure out whether she was being serious or not.
Then he questioned her,"Did you really took the medicines when I didn't see you in the past week?"
He replied her with a question and it made her a little frustrated. 'Would I have asked you if I had known?' she said to herself but didn't voice out her words.
"What are you talking about? What medicines?"
"Please tell me in a way so that I can understand," she requested.
He looked at her as if she was impossible and said, "Ok! ok! Don't get agitated! If you don't remember anything I will tell you."
"The last time I saw you in the room I told you about the medicines. Maybe that is why you can't remember. We have met before probably more than once but I can only remember the last time. It was more than a month ago, in the same test room. We had been in that room for a whole day. We talked about this whole ridiculous situation and loss of our memories. Things like that and after the talk we also decided to look into this matter as much as we can."
