Tashina took deep breaths and wiped her teary eyes clean so she could stand in front of the King without breaking down.
When she was confident she could hold in her emotions and not break down, she nodded her head for the guard outside to signal her presence.
"Your Majesty, the Queen, her grand Majesty Tashina is seeking permission to enter the room," the guard announced.
"Send her in immediately," his voice was heard from behind the doors.
The doors were then opened and the Queen stepped into the room.
The King was seated by his desk, with his reading glasses on his face and a book in his hand.
The fully furnished luxurious room was warm and it gave her a sign of comfort.
"Father," she called as she laid her eyes on the KIng.
"Tashina dear," his voice came out as gentle as the wind.
"Come here," he gestured for her to come closer as he opened his arms for her.
