The next day was just as hectic as I had anticipated it to be. When it wasn't one thing it was another, and to top it off the babies had been fighting and kicking each other all day, so my mood was through the roof angry and unamused by everything. Poor Hugo had done his best all day to keep me happy, even going above and beyond his duties to help, but the mood just wasn't sticking with me the way I wished it did.
Gathering my notes for the press conference was borderline impossible because there was a constant forgetfulness that was plaguing me. It was almost like a bad omen, and I usually wasn't superstitious, but it was starting to freak me out a lot.
"Hugo, please do not leave the umbrella open inside!" I hissed and hurried to close the contraption. "What do you need this for, anyway? It's sunny outside."
"The weather forecast said it was going to rain," Hugo handed me his tablet with the weather forecast pulled up. "I was trying to be prepared."
