Meeting Mommy's Friend?
The first three days of the New Year ended well. On the following day, Kyoya returned to work while Shouko continued working on her new book. During her time writing the manuscript, Yuuya would docilely sit next to her, either drawing or reading. They passed the days in leisure.
Before the school winter break ended on the sixth, Shouko asked Akari out. It had been so long since the last time they met. The two of them agreed to meet at White Rose.
"Meeting Mommy's friend?" Yuuya asked when Shouko helped him to wear his winter coat.
Shouko hummed in response. Her deft fingers swiftly buttoning the thick coat over Yuuya's small body, "We rarely meet since she's busy with her job as a teacher. Mommy hasn't met her since winter arrives."
It went without saying that Shouko would bring Yuuya out with her. It was good to let him see the outside instead of only coping himself in the mansion.
