Falcon was struggling to count his blessings.
It wasn't that he was ungrateful. Sure, he was beyond grateful that he had Aurelia. But exactly when things had seemed like they were about to settle down, and he didn't have to fight any more demons or whatnot, another situation had presented itself.
That too, in Aurelia's dream. Or mind, whatever. She had a vision, and now they were back in Lapis Valley.
What was Zue thinking?
'Falcon, are you ready?' Aurelia said.
They had arrived in the dead of the night to escape any situation with Frabiur or anyone else. Falcon had wanted to teach them a lesson, but Aurelia had insisted there wasn't any time. Perhaps, later.
Well, at least, she hadn't said no.
'Why would Zue do that? Why? And Shayma, too? I thought they were smart...' Falcon grumbled.
