'I have spent half of my entire life in this place,' Aurelia said, closing her eyes and breathing deeply in the rich smell of the old velvet-bound books, 'But it never fails to amaze me more.'
They had found themselves back at the underground library at Aurelia's cottage, in the exact same state that Zue and him had left. The plan was to take the magma tube and follow their way to the volcano armed with some sort of fire, although Falcon wondered if they could manage it. To locate the dead bodies and actually work out the reason for the attack could take a while.
But for now, he watched Aurelia breathe in the smell of home.
Falcon smiled at the look of wonder and affection in her eyes as she looked at the magnificent books set on the shelves. She was turning slowly on the balls of her feet, taking in every corner of the library when she stopped suddenly.
'Falcon...' She said slowly and Falcon knew he was in trouble. 'Did you leave that book out there?'
