As he stood in front of the Royal chambers, Regan looked at the entrance with cold eyes. He was not particularly staring at the entrance but lost in his own thoughts.
The memory of how he had left these same chambers years ago in anger was still afresh in his mind.
That day, he had promised himself that he would never step inside here….because the owner of these chambers was not respected by him. It was from that day that he believed that his father was dead.
Derrick was not his father, he was just a king.
Yet here he was today, standing at the same place he had vowed not to ever step inside.
"Your Highness, you can go inside."
The royal soldier came and informed him. Regan silently stepped inside the chambers.
Though he didn't wish to, his eyes unconsciously went in a particular direction as he walked inside and he saw the familiar painting on the wall.
It was of his mother. Queen Regina who was also the princess and the sole ruler of the City of Mazic.
