Bo Peep

As the familiar intro began and passed by, the lively vocals struck the ears of listeners.

Soo-Ha, who goes with the most iconic pose, raises to fists to his cheeks as he tilts his head as he waits for the cue.

As one of the judges spat out the water he was drinking.

HA!

Don't lose, don't lose, don't lose, quickly

Don't lose your temper so, so, so quickly,

your- so quickly

Bo Peep Bo Peep Bo Peep Bo Peep

Bo Peep Bo Peep Bo Peep Ah!

The only person who seems to be watching his simple steps with eager eyes is the choreography instructor.

While the rest along with the crowd of idols, smiles stretch to their eyes as they enjoy the unexpected scene of liveliness.

The dance was not overly complicated, heck the song was the national anthem for all kindergarteners at the time.

The song which was released 5 years ago, is clearly a relic of its time.

An EDM-pop hybrid which instantly shot to number 1 on the Oricon Chat and top 5 on the Gaon Music Chart.

ARA's <Bo Peep Bo Peep>, screams "cutesy".

It is the type of music some people avoid at all costs, firstly because it will annoy you to no end and secondly because it will invariably get caught into the head of the listener until they actually love it.

Of course, Soo-Ha knew his dancing wasn't the best, so his only strategy was to use the dichotomy between his chic face and the adorable dance he was currently performing.

Even if others were looking at him as a gag, he had to give the impression that he had prepared the performance diligently.

And in reality, he was trying his best.

While not putting his full attention onto dance during the past 10 day, his level had increased a fair few over the past 10 days.

He was able to achieve the achievements of both <First Dance> and <Two Left Feet>.

Though it may have appeared as a mistake, seeing how much laughter had filled the set.

Soo-Ha knows that his dancing is just average, if he were to showcase just that then it would lower his rememberability, as a pity given that he would have only 2 out of 3 skills required for an idol.

Now at least Soo-Ha would be remembered as simple but capable of being a mood maker.

Soo-Ha would subvert expectations the entire season, as that would make him interesting.

The more interesting one is as a character, the more screen time one would get.

Soo-Ha stopped dancing after finishing the *aegyo pose at the end of the first verse.

Short of breath he bows once more, as thunderous applause soon comes from the set.

"Thank you."

The first to speak, is the choreographer, whose eyes had turned red.

Just how much did he laugh for tears to form?

"I hadn't even dreamed of Bo Peep playing. It was very refreshing. It was very well practiced, although a bit lacking. I look forward to seeing more"

Bang PD, strikes next teasingly "I guess student park was also one of the kindergartener fans, when this song came out. I will have to call Ji-yeon to make sure she doesn't miss this episode"

"Huh?" Soo-Ha says in song, not expecting to hear that the producer will be introducing the original singer to his cover.

Sure enough, the choreographer busted out in laughter.

Next to him, Hyo the vocal mentor mutters in delight

"Ah... He's cute... Noona is a fan"

"He tried his best...." before adding, "but doesn't mean he did well"

The male idol judge from earlier, says no longer harbouring any discontent.

This would be the situation where the editors would include a close-up and a sound effect.

The editing department would then add a caption that would fill the screen saying, "Du-dung!"

"I think it's clear to see, that you're not the most skilled at dancing from the way you moved. A few of your movements were stiff and you lacked impact. It seemed a bit plastic at a few parts, the missions from now on will evolve much more challenging choreography. I expect you to put in further practice."

"Yes, sir"

The rest refrain from making extra remarks, as they began deliberating without holding the microphones nearby.

The contestants are ranked between 1st and 101st place in this evaluation.

Everyone was then assigned a seat based on their ranking.

If the next contestant performed better, then everyone's else rank would get pushed down and they would have to give up their seat. ne

At the end, they would film the one who sat in first and contrast that to the one in last rank.

The growth and downfall of the contestants over the next 8 weeks was one of the biggest selling points of the show.

Soo-Ha estimated, that his rank would be around 25th place.

Although his signing was towards the top, his dancing would rank him in the bottom middle of the pack.

He did not have to wait long before the announcement came.
