Chapter 7

Harry was very happy with his progress in the two years since he had been officially adopted as their heir by Sirius and Aunt Amy. The ritual itself was interesting as it was first glimpse of ritualistic magic.

Harry and his family along with Sirius and Amelia and Granduncle Arcturus were in a ritual room in the Black manor, which was a large room with obsidian flooring and dome shaped ceiling with runes covering the entire ceiling, it was a marvelous sight. A ritual pentagram was drawn on the floor using dragon blood and Harry was situated naked lying in the ritual circle and he was given a potion mixed with the blood of himself, Sirius and Amelia to be consumed by him, Harry drank the foul tasting potion and said in a clear voice, "I Harry James Potter son of James and Lily Potter hereby accept Sirius and Amelia Black as my parents from this day till my last breath, so mote it be". Sirius and Amelia chanted, " We Sirius Orion Black and Amelia Ophelia Black accept Harry James Potter as our son and heir from this day till our last day, so mote it be". There was a brilliant display of light as the ritual cycle lit up and Harry screamed in pain as he felt like his entire body was being rearranged causing Lily and Amelia to squeeze their husbands hands in their anguish seeing their son in such pain and not being able to do anything about it they nearly broke the hands of James and Sirius as they kept yelping in pain. After nearly five minutes Harry fainted from the pain and a few minutes later the ritual was completed and Lily and Amelia rushed and covered up Harry in a long coat and Harry slowly opened his eyes and seeing both Lily and Amelia checking him over to see if he was okay turned towards Amelia and said " so I guess I should start calling you mom from now on", causing her to break out in tears and hug him tightly. Harry was then given his clothes by his father James and after getting dressed he saw himself in the mirror and noticed that his features had changed slightly, his features were a lot sharper and he had a few streaks of red in his hair like his new mother who was also a redhead like his original mother.

Harry had finally managed to sort through all his memories and had them all organised in the form of a digital code as he was currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering and no wizard could understand even a bit of it without his magical signature and password to access his memories and for anyone but him his memories would look like a random bunch of binary characters (0 and 1). Harry was currently working on suppressing his emotions at will and bringing up any emotion at will. Harry was aiming to complete building his mental defenses before starting at Hogwarts. Harry had also mastered using the levitating , banishing and summoning charms and was currently working on fine tuning his control using the levitating charm by levitating multiple objects of different sizes and weights and levitating them simultaneously and moving them in different directions as it help him in fine tuning his control over his magic and he could do all these spells non verbally. Harry had finished his secondary education and was currently majoring in Chemistry and also in Computer engineering much to the delight of both his mothers, while both his fathers bemoaned as they felt that he was turning into a bookworm so they started their attempts to turn him into a prankster by constantly playing pranks on him in their efforts to get a reaction out of him but Harry patiently weathered their attempts as it helped him in looking out for traps and after a few months he started being able to sense somewhat the magic in the traps placed by his dads around him nearly everyday so he considered it good practice in sensing magic and curse and ward detection though that was a long time away in the

future, but on the day of his tenth birthday everyone in his family learnt a new rule and that was to never try to prank Hyacinth Potter. Everyone woke up on the day of Harry's tenth birthday to the sound of little Hya as Harry and her mother called her crying as she was caught in a trap set for Harry outside of Harry's room as she was sneaking into his room to be the first one to wish him on his birthday but was instead caught in the trap and was hanging upside down and her favorite dress was ruined by her being splashed with a bucket of paint. Harry was the first one to reach her and immediately freed her and helped her clean up as both his mothers were berating James and Sirius.Both of them saw Harry giving them a cold glare and they felt that they had crossed a line with Harry this time and made sure to be alert for any retaliation by Harry in the next few days but nothing came and they relaxed but were caught unawares when nearly a month after that incident when all the Potters and Blacks were having lunch at Potter manor when suddenly James and Sirius were suddenly shrieking in high pitched voices and when everyone turned towards them they burst out laughing as both of them were transformed into girls and were looking at their chests in horror but only Lily saw the look of smug satisfaction on Harry's face and asked him,

" Harry what did you do to them while laughing hysterically at seeing her husband's and Sirius's expression" as Harry said, " I taught that they would appreciate the prank as they have been trying to get me to take up pranking for nearly the past year and I decided to retaliate after they got my little sister in one of their traps along with also both Nebula and Artemis also being caught in their traps while I was living in Sirius house, it is a modification to the Polyjuice potion and will last for an hour but if they make anyone of my three little sisters cry again due to their stupid pranks I will make it permanent " Harry replied making both of them blanch in terror and readily agreeing to leaving Hyacinth, Nebula and Artemis out of any future pranks as they were afraid of what Harry would do to them of the three little girls complained to Harry as they knew that Harry had a fearsome temper like both his mothers but with an added Slytherin cunning and ruthlessness to it which he inherited from his grandmother who was a Slytherin.
