Almost Too Easy

The strange purple patterns on the black panthers body began glowing giving off a cold vibe.After it dimmed down it's figure disappeared and reappeared above Arthur throwing out it's ferocious paw towards him.

"It's speed just doubled". Arthur knew very much that those purple pattern on its body was properly its technique as a rank 1 beast.Meaning if its speed just doubled then its becausd of its glowing.

He immediately turned his body around swerving his head to the side to dodge the attack.However as soon as the black panthers body missed and touched the ground it's figure disappeared once more.

Arthur was somehow finding hard to track it's speed so he decided to sense it using his perception.This time around he had rejuvenation so his decreasing health would just get restored although at a very slow pace.

Arthur held the black katana tightly in his left hand bending his thighs a bit.He pulled his left hand backwards and tried to sense the black panthern which kept jumping and landing with immense speed.

Wind began to swirl around the edge of the blade until eventually forming some kind of an invisible wind ball.With full force he thrusted the katana forward at a certain location.

Growl!!!!

The beast was impaled,leaving a huge hole at its under belly as it growled in pain.The growl this time felt almost like a cry due to how much pain it was experiencing.

Arthur sprinted towards the now fallen beast grabbing the hilt of the katana and slicing horizontally from below out.This in turn caused the black panther another round of pain.

Without delay he sliced off it's head.Being knowledgeable about beasts Arthur mostly knew where to acquire the beast core when it had finished off the beast.

Using the katana blade he sliced through it like a marshmallow and there it was.A purple coloured beast core laid silent.The power it was emitting wasn't anywhere near the power the black bear's core raidated even then it still felt powerful.

"Hurry up and absorb it,miss Jade already said I could have everything".

Just then the purple crystal like ball slowly dispersed turning into tiny purple particles and then entering Arthur's body.

Miss Jade appeared and then vanished once more.They appeared at a waterfall area and Arthur couldn't help but marvel at the beautiful scenery Infront of him.

Too bad it was going to be dyed in blood."The black panther felt almost too easy,what about this one"Shs strectched her arm out and towering over them was a giant python.When Arthur tried to locate it's tail he failed to see it signalling how far it's length was.

It had green scales all over its body with a single horn sticking out of its head.The one horned python bared it's fangs at Arthur being mindful of the woman beside him.

"How come it feels afraid of you".Arthur asked."Its a beast...their sense of danger are unparalleled.It knows its way out of my league".

Miss Jade flexed her strength and vanished leaving Arthur alone with the one horned python.Arthur once again had to fight for his survival,not that he hasn't been doing it anyways.

Arthur stared at its magnificent scaled body and couldn't help but marvel at its existence.He had once come across a detailed book about a beast who's green scales were as hard to cut as steel and never did he think he would face one this early.

"Well not that it matters anyway".He slid his right foot backwards and griped onto his blade tightly staring at the one horned python motionless.Arthur's style of griping his blade could be said to be very strange.His blade is always pointed backwards which isn't normal for most sword users.

To him this way of griping his blade gives him more strength in cutting,and miss Jade could been said to be the one who caused this sort of thinking for him.

[Dash Activated]

The beast launched it's head towards Arthur baring it's fangs with Arthur also dashing towards it.After getting near the mouth of the python Arthur did a spin with his blade in hand slashing over the scales of the one horned python

CLANG!!!

The tip of his blade was met with a little resistance.He landed on the ground but due to his momentum he slid backwards."At least I drew blood out".He said staring at the green blood that had soaked his blade.

[Blood Manipulation activated]

The green blood formed blood spikes and sent it at an incredible speed towards the beast .The python however countered the blood spikes by striking it with it's tail.

"It's tail it's the only part that's not covered in scales".Deriving this conclusion he activated flash step when the beast had struck again.Appearing behind it,he performed a circular forward slash slicing off its defenceless tail.

The one horned python hissed at Arthur writhing its body in pain.Arthur leaped backwards and activated his dash skill speeding towards its distinct neck.

The one horned python hissed once more and out flew a tiny liquidfied substance which latched itself onto Arthur's skin.Arthur was then forcibly made to stop his advance and stand down due to the heavy itching he felt from that attack just now.

"I got careless".In a battle even a spilt second mistake could cost your life and right now Arthur has underestimated the beast and he had to suffer for it.

"Arhh"Arthur kept scratching it feeling the immense pain from where the spit had landed.Just then the python launched it's head in an extremely fast manner catching Arthur off guard.

Arthur barely reacted in time raising his blade to block it's fangs from impaling him.The beast once again launched another spit attack making Arthur lose his balance.

It used the humans dazed moment to parry his blade away swallowing him up.The one horned python didn't stop there as it began squirming in an unusual way.Before long it had cooled it's body up with the thought of crushing the silly human.

"Damnit...I should have finished this beast off when I had the chance".

Arthur was at a point where he didn't know what to do.He could slowly feel the body of the one horned python coiling up and slowly he was getting squeezed in.He had to do something really quick or else there was a good chance he was going to die.

"And here I thought thinking it was almost too easy".He clenched his fist and without hesitation striked at the inside of the beast.If he couldn't find a way out then he's just gonna have to boow a hole through it.
