Inevitable Fight

"What is with all this talking, we will surely fight so what are you waiting for?", a heavy masculine voice came from one of Kate's partners. His eyes were filled with hatred as he looked at Jared who had a nonchalant look on his face.

"What is wrong, Ray?" Jared smirked. "You want another beat down?".

Ray was a member of one of the high echelons of Frozen lake city. However, unlike other members of his family who were known for their patience, Ray was different. He had one of the worst tempers in the class and it ended him in an unfortunate situation.

When he first joined class A, he fell into a fight with Jared which didn't end well for him. He got seriously beaten down by Jared, which lowered his arrogant behaviour. Since that time, he had never been on good terms with Jared. He challenged Jared countless times even though it was unaccepted by the school rules. However, every time that happened, Jared gave Ray a beat down.

"Hmph, you won't say that after we fight... heh!", Ray laughed. Seeing Ray laugh so savagely, Jared couldn't help but chuckle. Ray suddenly stopped his laughter and suddenly attacked.

*swish!*

Ray moved at an incredible speed. His speed was unimaginable as he moved at full speed towards Jared. Even though his speed wasn't fast, it was nevertheless faster than Travis' speed.

"Hmph!", seeing Ray's speed, Jared snorted coldly. He then sidestepped when Ray nearly hit him, dodging Ray's attack. With a huge and sudden boost of speed, he attacked. Making huge spears with water that attacked Ray. All this happened in a split of a second, making them unable to react on time.

"Since they have already started, Then, let's dance...", Sarah said as she attacked. Her opponent, the arrogant and lofty young miss of the Gregory Family, Kate Gregory.

However, even before Sarah could attack Kate, she was stopped by Melvin. "Heh, you will be, my opponent young miss...", Melvin said as he attacked. Sharp poles of metals descended endlessly as they attacked Sarah. However, Sarah wasn't to be left out. With a wave of her hands, huge flames began to descend from the sky, attacking Melvin.

"I guess you would be my partner for the ceremony, Duane!" Kate said with a slight chuckle. She then attacked sending huge rocks towards Duane, but with a motion of his hands, huge wind blades attacked and cancelled out Kate's attack.

Kate unlike Duane had Gregory's family superpower, she was able to control rocks. Duane then attacked, sending huge blades of wind toward Kate.

Travis couldn't help but gasp. All these fights started within a split second. Moreover, they attacked before he could even react. Their speed was unimaginably fast, making Travis believe that even if he was to train for a whole year, he wouldn't be able to fight them. There was truly a difference between the 'normal people' and mages!

"I see… so you are my opponent", Travis heard a sweet voice from behind him. Turning to the source of the voice, Travis' eyes nearly popped out of his socket. Silva was currently standing about 10 metres in front of him. She had her left hand on her waist whiles she had a sword in her right hand. However, what made Travis gasp wasn't her posture but the aura she was exhibiting. Her aura was very strong prompting

"I didn't expect someone to get to this stage," said Silva, "You were lucky I guess"

"Hm, I wasn't just lucky. I worked—"

"I don't care about your reason! But I have to win this duel!", Silva said as she attacked. With a sudden movement, she arrived in front of Travis.

'She is fast', Travis noticed, 'her speed is nearly equal to mine!'

Silva attacked, stabbing the spear towards Travis' stomach. If that blow hits, it would have been a fatal blow. With this in mind, Travis moved. Jumping backwards, he was able to avoid the fatal blow.

However, before he could take his rest, he was attacked again. This time, the strike was coming from above. Travis took in a quick breath and somersaulted to the right, barely escaping the sudden attack.

"I don't know what kind of tricks you used that helped you to dodge my attacks…", Silva said in frustration, "but forget it! I will surely defeat you!" Not being able to hit Duane even though she had attacked about two times was starting to be frustrating.

She then attacked again, but this time she attacked differently. She first threw the spear forward. Not giving Travis time to dodge the attack from the spear, she also attacked. When she was about five metres away from Travis, she jumped and landed a very powerful kick on Travis' stomach.

Ducking to the left, Travis was able to evade the spear, but things didn't go as expected. He was kicked in the stomach which sent him somersaulting back for about ten metres. He was able to evade the attack from the spear, but he failed to realize the attack from Silva herself.

"Cough, cough…", Travis coughed a mouthful of blood. He then stood up and gazed at Silva. She currently had a smirk on her face.

'She is strong but—' Travis thought, 'I have to win'. "Hey, Jared can you make me some swords?", Travis yelled.

"Okay!", Jared replied, throwing over two water swords. The water swords looked exactly like swords. The only difference was that they were rather made with water. After catching the swords, Travis took in a huge breath before his attack. He moved fast, waning to confuse Silva, from seeing his point of attack. He then attacked. His aim was Silva's arms. At least without her arms, she wouldn't be able to fight.

With a swish, Travis attacked. He Jumped whiles planning to cut Silva's arm off. As for Silva, she was standing motionlessly, with a nonchalant look on her face.

*Boom*

However, before he could hit, he suddenly vomited a mouthful of blood and got thrown backwards.
