Usefulness Of A Moon Rock

" You mean something like this?" Ethan said, as he brought out one of the rocks that he found when he accidentally broke the wall.

" How did you get that?!" Amon was incredibly shocked at seeing Ethan pull out a moon rock.

" Well you see, while I was coming in here I kinda broke a part of the wall, it felt really weak around that area. The moment I broke it, I found about seven of these in there,"

" Se- se- seven! You found seven moon rocks so easily?!!" Amon was lost for words hearing that Ethan found seven moon rocks.

Deep down he felt like crying. When he was at his peak it would take him many years before he could find one moon rock, not to mention seven. And even if he found the moon rocks, many beasts would swarm around him and try to fight for the moon rocks, and that scenario is only when he finds one!

" Is something wrong?" Ethan asked, seeing Amon quite with the look of surprise all over his face.

" Ethan, don't you know what type of treasure that you are holding in your hands?!"

" It's a moon rock?" Ethan said with a confused exppression. Why the hell was Amon acting like this?

Amon suddenly took in a breath of air, as he calmed down," Ethan with a moon rock you can so much more than just using it to contain chaos energy,"

" Yeah, I know. You literally just said that I could use it to absorb moonlight better like a moment ago," Ethan said, as he stared at Amon.

Amon stared back at Ethan and said," Naive," Amon said with a smile.

" Ethan, with a moon rock, you won't just be able to help you absorb the moonlight better, but it could help you to achieve a break through to the next level with absolutely zero impurities," Amon said seriously.

" Zero impurities, what does that mean?" Ethan asked. Why must Amon always talk in a confusing way.

" You see, when you are absorbing moonlight, you also take in the impurities in the air into your body. Allowing those impurities in your body would make your power become restricted by about twenty five percent," Amon said.

" So that means that the moon rocks would help me stop the impurities and also expel the impurities that are also in my body, allowing me to be able to make use of the moonlight's abilities by a hundred percent," Ethan was surprised by the usefulness of such a regular looking shiny rock.

" That's not the only thing it's used for," Amon said with a grin.

" There's more to it?" Ethan was surprised that the rock had another function.

" It's impossible to use the abilities of a moon rock all at once," Amon said with a smile," A moon rock should be able to last you about a month. And the moment the energy in a moon rock is depleted, you could begin to use it to store moonlight energy, so as you can have a backup of moonlight if an emergency calls for it," Amon recalled the amount of times he had been saved by these moon rocks, he can't even remember where he put his.

Their probably lost or someone else had taken it for themselves if the moon rocks haven't yet been destroyed.

" Wow! That's awesome, does it have any other function?" Ethan said fascinated by what a good looking rock could do.

" For you, it would make your integration with the werewolf world stream be much more smoother," Amon said, as he stared at the ceiling with a look of remencience.

" Anything else?" Ethan asked.

" Well, for a beast there's no other use for a moon rock. But for humans, there's still one more function,"

" What function is that?" Ethan wondered.

" In my time, Humans used to use a moon rock to craft all sort of weapons that would be able to easily cut open the famous shell of a turquoise turtle beast which is known for its almost indestructable skin and shell," Amon remembered the time he actually fought with that beast. It's shell was really hard, and it took a while for his claws to actually scratch it's skin by a little.

" Whoa! Wait does that mean I'm going to need a weapon eventually?" Since Amon said he would probably be fighting with a lot of beasts that don't want the night god to come back, does that mean he would also need a weapon?

" You don't need a weapon since you're going to have claws as strong as steel. But I guess if you feel more comfortable with a weapon you could use one. Though, I can't teach you how to wield a weapon. You might probably have to look for a master for that," Amon said. He had been using claws all his thousands of years of living, there was just no way he would have touched a weapon since he had claws that could easily slice through them.

" Yeah, I think I'll look for someone who could teach me how to use a spear or maybe a dagger," Ethan said with an expectant look.

" Why a spear?" Amon asked, even in his time, it was rare to see humans using Spears or daggers, they would usually craft weapons like swords, shields, even arrows we're more common then than a spear or a dagger.

" I've always dreamed of using a spear, their very versatile to use and a dagger could be hidden in my sleeves, it would be so awesome. Besides, I've always wanted to use a weapon," Ethan said with a shrug.

" Whatever it's your choice," Amon also shrugged back.

" So how do I do this? Do I just place the moon rock on the chaos energy?" Ethan asked curiously.

" No you idiot, do you think it's that easy to just do?" Amon said with a dumbfounded look

" Hey it was just a regular question, now tell me how to do it," Ethan said, as he walked closer to the small pool of chaos energy on the ground.

" All you have to do is.....place the moon rock a little bit above the small pool of chaos energy," Amon said with a sheepish grin.

Ethan's eyes immediately began twitching hearing those words," isn't that exactly what I said!!"

" No that's not exactly what you said. You said chaos energy, and I said a little bit above pool of chaos energy, there's a difference," Amon said with a playful smile.

Ethan's eyes kept on twitching in anger, as he took in a deep breath and tried to calm down.

Then he placed the moon rock above the mini pool of chaos energy and Immediately the moon rock began absorbing the chaos energy into it, slowly turning the bright and holy looking rock black as night, it looked like someone put the dark night sky inside of a rock
