After listening to the various issues that had cropped up in the village, I finally understood that I had been too conservative and cautious in both, my thinking and my approach.
Because I was afraid to make too many changes too quickly, I had unknowingly compromised my own progress and of those who had now become dependent on me.
I quickly decided to let go of the cautious approach I had been following and start various projects that I knew were too far ahead of their time.
The first project that I decided to complete, was the one that I knew needed only my directions and not my attention.
The railings on the various buildings.
The second project that I decided to begin was something that would require less of my attention and more that of my workers.
The only issue was that this was a whole new concept for this era.
Water pipes.
