[Bonus chapter] CAPTAIN

Captain, this was what I was called by the prince since the day I was assigned to him by the king. I took it up as my duty and had no intention to ever turn this into something more than my job. I had seen the prince growing up. He was mediocre at best with almost no area of excellence. On top of this he was not someone who strived to work hard to fill the flaws to pursue greatness. 

He always did the bare minimum required of him. Even after countless attempts of the king to get the prince interested in the art of war and weapons, the prince had always shown a high-level of disinterest. The day I was called in the king's chamber and informed of my new duty as the guard captain of the young prince I was confused. The prince that I knew of never went anywhere outside the palace, forget about going outside the capital.
