Always remember to prep and pray

The sea licked the legs of the rixis's who were trying to catch the fish within their reach it was a hard but earnest living for them. They had grown up on these sands and met while hunting and now were old with their children going off to find their own path.

The reason they were fishing has something to do with the team, Nyx was training in the fact that he also made sure they got a good diet. He wanted to make sure they were well fed and had the maximum amount of energy they could grasp in their bodies.

So they got grey whispering berries from the valleys and furry toad hearts from the forests with some blue fanged scarlet fish from the sea.

The main point when getting these types of foods was that they could last the journey to the training camps without spoling, while the other was that they had to have benefits such as high fat and protein or in very rare cases magic.

Even those who didn't dabble in the art of magic could gain benefits from eating the bodies of those that do sentient or not.

In return for these foods, they would gain gifts in the form of the first metal weapons made and different products they wanted from the lands the jackrixis own. This was so that more trade would be fostered between the rixis as Jack didn't want it all to be on faith.

For a civilization, religion can be very helpful, but it has its pros and cons, but it was important enough to be a part of the system so Jack would implement it when need. But would use it as a rubber band that keeps everyone together and can be essential during times of crisis.

It was certainly a strange thing to do, considering Jack's didn't really believe in a god or being who controls the earth or universe. But maybe it's because he didn't really think about it or that it didn't interest him until he had to become one.

Currently, Minerva and Ven were going through a list of things as Ven sat in Minerva's lap and talked.

"So we have all the newly made metal weapons from the copper they managed to mine?"-Minerva

"Yep, all there!"-Ven

"And the extra padded cloth clothes have been distributed among the warriors?"-Minerva

"Yes, and they look great!"-Ven

"Has the support team been given all the information we could collect on the geography of the forest to as far as we have searched?"-Minerva

"Correct it took them awhile with them being all soft brained and stuff, but they understood it"-Ven

"Well, now that's not their fault they don't have basic education yet now do they. The most they have is their elders and parents"-Minerva

"I know, but it's still weird considering we know so much stuff that they don't yet. I hope their brains start getting bigger soon"-Ven

"Indeed, well, what else? Oh yes, they have learned the group tactics and hand gestures and know the plan, so I think we're done now, Ven"-Minerva

"Yay, can we play with the 6 eyed ducks now they are so big and bitey!"-Ven

"Fine, but tell no one of this the god of knowledge has to uphold some decorum in the eyes of other"-Minerva

"Yeah, yeah, let's get to the duckies!"-Ven

Back to the training camps and away from feeding monster ducks, the Jackrixis had been training hard. From the looks of things, the teamwork building had worked with multiple small and large groups walking around and training together.

Most notable was the difference between the support team and the attacking team, which was shown clearly by how they looked. The attacking team wore a lot of simple symbols and conducted daily or weekly rituals to the gods of their choice.

Everyone on the attacking team was, in simple terms, a religious zeolt who would fight until the end for their gods. These guys were the best options for the job as in a sense they were a suicide squad in the worst case.

Quite an added bonus was the blessings some of them would receive, which was a deadly combination. As for the scouting team, they weren't as many strong believers, with some not even being religious.

That's the weird thing with the rixis. Even though they have multiple gods that they know instinctively exist, they don't prey or serve them. Now that's not to mean they won't listen to them and are not grateful for what's given to them but it comes down to simply one thing.

Absolute freedom a rixis wouldn't bash another's faith, and the believer wouldn't blame the none believer that he didn't worship the gods. It was a very strange and complex way of living at least to others, and it was still strange to Jack.

In the simplest of terms, it's a choice you can pray and believe or not even have to pray or you can go about your day. As long as you don't try to harm the Jackrixis race or gods, everyone's happy.

Those who believe in fake or evil gods will be cursed and hunted by believers and none alike for nutippe reasons. But one thing was the same for them all, which was that Jack was the highest power and creator of their race none disputes that.

A small time hunter in a random tribe may not pray to Themis or Van or any other gods, but they will give thanks to Jack and handfuls of respect for the great hunter.

Now we know Jack and know he isn't exactly a great hunter, but hey, what you don't know won't kill you... maybe.

Jack's religion was actually both the smallest and largest of them all in the fact that elder or preists and zeolts were low, but follower were high.

It's much easier to be a priest to the god of war than to the god of civilization and to uphold his high standards and beliefs that were extremely alien to them.

But a high priest of Jack's to the simplest hunter and elder would all whisper a small thanks to him.In affects, Jack was the glue that kept everyone together as those in the different religious groups would decide which gods they did and didn't like.

Regularly, the god of war and knowledge followers would argue with each other, saying that they hated each other or that one was greater than the other.

Other things like Renkas followers being looked down upon as weak while the blues gods were barely seen as gods to some. You might wonder why Jack didn't do anything well because if everyone thought the same and were robots and had no basic conflict he'd be dead by now.

As long as they don't want to slaughter the gods or eliminate the races, you can scream at the mountain tops why your clan or god is better all you want.

It's unknown whether this will get better or worse as they get more advanced and slowly reach the stages that humanity reached.

While many things may seem chaotic besides the war and the small fights here and there, the rixis and blues were going well.

Going through the last preparations and going into the confusion of the rixis religion.

If things seem convulted or strange, then good that's society and civilization a million things happening and changing at once.
