How do we get two people who hate each other to get along?

People can get along badly with each other for a variety of reasons

Different personalities, opposing goals, different preferences, past disputes, etc.

Many are the factors that influence when it comes to get along badly or directly hate a person.

How do we make these people get along?

There are several methods to achieve this

Find some activity that both people enjoy, some trait in common or simply talk and get to know each other better.

But if someone were to ask what is the best and quickest way to make two people who hate each other get along, the answer is only one

Overcome a crisis or life-threatening situation.

Overcoming difficult times with a person will inevitably create a connection between the two of them.

This is what is currently happening at the Athena Academy.

The nobles, who previously discriminated and hated the commoners, began to act more friendly towards them; the same is happening with the commoners.

The sudden attack of the demons on the excursion put the students in a crisis and life-threatening situation, The commoners and nobles, who hated each other, were forced to work together to overcome this situation.

Fighting side by side, protecting each other and helping each other when they were injured.

Overcoming the crisis situation naturally formed a connection between the students, which, although it did not reach the point of getting along, was a sense of comradeship of comrades who fought together on the battlefield.

This, coupled with the various actions taken by Beatrice to get the commoners and nobles to get along, led to a substantial decrease in aggression between the two factions.

But there are always people who, no matter how many crisis situations they go through together or how thoroughly they know the other person, will still continue to hate them.

That is the case of the proudest nobles, who still view the commoners with disdain.

And I, Arthur Reclesia, am one of those nobles, and I will also be responsible for re-establishing "order" in this academy so that the commoners know their place.

The level test is something the academy does in the middle of the year to check the progress of the students.

Since Athena Academy is mostly a combat academy, the tests conducted during this period are mostly practical: strategy, team fighting, and monster hunting, among other activities that test the students' behavior and ability in combat situations. 

If a student's level proves to be too low, then he or she will be expelled.

During this scenario, the nobles who were still dissatisfied with the commoners, did all sorts of things to sabotage the tests, including bribing teachers, framing students for cheating, attacking students before the physical tests, etc.

The leader of this whole movement was the original Arthur, who, after the various humiliations he suffered from Kein and the fact that he was not chosen for the special class, made him lose his mind and do everything possible to get him expelled. 

"It is also the arc in which he is expelled from the academy and the family after trying to attack Beatrice, a member of the royal family."

I already prepared everything beforehand to make sure that everything goes perfectly; it only remains to put the actors on stage and enjoy the show

In a training field, the sound of swords clashing could be heard. The people responsible for this were Kein and Leticia, who were in a training session.

They were skillfully swinging their swords blocking, dodging and attacking whenever they saw the opportunity.

In one of those attacks, Kein dodged Leticia's sword and with a sweep of his leg, he made her fall to the ground. Pointing his sword at her neck, the training ended.

As he helped her up, Leticia praised his sword skills.

"Since the demon attack, your skills have been increasing at a very fast rate; are you doing some secret training or something?" 

"No, it's nothing like that, although I also feel like I've been advancing faster than normal."

Since the incident with the demons, Kein has been training more intensely than before to become stronger, During this training, he noticed several things that he hadn't noticed before

Weaknesses in his stance, awkward movements in his technique, bad habits when attacking, flaws in his footwork, etc.

It was as if something was guiding him somehow, pointing out what he needed to correct.

His thoughts were cut off when he heard a familiar voice, As he turned around, he could see Beatriz walking towards them

"Greetings princess."

Leticia bowed lightly and greeted Beatriz in a respectful manner, Beatriz frowned at this and spoke

"I already told you that you don't have to be so formal; we are friends, aren't we?"

"I can't do that, princess, I'm a Pendragon and his future personal guard, I have to keep the behavior corresponding to my role."

"But that time has not come yet, has it? You can treat me comfortably when it's just us."

"... Okay."

Leticia reluctantly accepted, while Beatriz smiled in satisfaction.

They have had this kind of talk before, Beatriz doesn't like to be treated in such a respectful way, especially if it is someone she considers her friend.

"I think Arthur is planning something."

Hearing this name, Kein's eyes unconsciously flashed with disgust.

Arthur was a guy he disliked from the first day of the entrance ceremony when he found him bullying Anisa. After that, he did many other unpleasant things and even went as far as kidnapping Anisa with the help of other nobles.

Although for a while he hasn't done anything to him or his friends, he heard that he's still acting like a jerk.

"Well, I don't know if it's specifically Arthur, but one of the members of my faction informed me that lately the nobles, who are still at odds with the commoners, have been participating in regular meetings with Arthur as their leader."

"And what are those meetings about?"

"I don't know; they couldn't hear anything because of the barrier they put up in the room but it's definitely not a good thing, and considering the Level Test is near, it makes me suspect they are up to something."

Listening to her explain, Kein began to think.

He's messed with a lot of nobles; he's not exaggerating when he says that most of the nobles in the academy hate him, but he doesn't like them either so he didn't care

"Maybe the target is me."

"I thought of that too, and that's most likely the case."

Beatrice nodded immediately at Kein's comment.

She better than anyone knows how much those arrogant nobles hate him

"Well, never mind."

Kein said as he picked up his sword

"What do you mean it doesn't matter? Those guys could be up to something really bad!"

Beatriz questioned him, dumbfounded by Kein's disinterest in the matter.

"Whatever they are planning, they will execute it during the Level test, won't they?"

"Yes, that's most likely."

"And the Level Test is based on tests like team combat and monster hunting, right?"

"Yes? But what does that have to be?"

Beatrice's words were cut off as she understood what Kein was getting at with all this talk.

"Then I just have to kick their asses hard enough that they won't think about doing anything, right?"

Kein said with a sinister grin as he swung his sword.

Leticia at his side simply laughed as Beatrice let out a deep sigh.

"I should have known you would act like this."

"Hahahaha! I'll give you a hand with that."

With his "plan" already set, the time flew by, and before he knew it, the Level Test period had arrived.

"Alright students, the rules are as follows!"

In an open space, teacher Vivian was standing in front of the students, explaining to them the contents of the test

"You will be teleported to random places in this forest I have behind me, Once you are in your places, your objective will be to hunt monsters to get points; the points will vary depending on the monster you match. You will also be able to fight against other students to steal their points or form teams, but keep in mind that if you form a team, then the points obtained will be divided equally to all team members".

As she explained, the students paid the maximum attention, and some of them already started to think about their strategies.

The weaker ones will surely choose to form teams; even if the points are divided, it will be easier to hunt stronger monsters and even fight against the other students.

"They will also carry with them an artifact that will teleport them to a safe place if it detects that they are badly injured, so they don't have to worry about dying fighting monsters."

The students were wearing bracelets with a blue stone in the center, If it detected that the students were in a bad state, then that stone would break and teleport them to the medical room, where the healers were ready to treat them.

"That would be all you need to know."

When she finished explaining, several wizards covered in robes summoned their staffs and began to chant a spell

"Good luck to all."

With that last greeting, a giant magical circle appeared below the students before they all disappeared.

Kein, who had just come to his senses, looked around, noticing he was in an open space with a river running beside him.

"Since the test will last a long time and I will be fighting constantly, having water will be an essential thing."

Walking towards the river Kein kneeled down to test the state of the water and dipped his hand into the river.

But he quickly withdrew it when he felt something was wrong, and the next moment, what appeared to be a giant carnivorous plant emerged from the water, trying to eat his arm.

"I won't be able to relax for a moment, huh?"

Drawing his sword, Kein looked at the giant carnivorous plant that seemed angry at not being able to catch its prey.

Propelling herself without even boosting it's body with mana, Kein moved fast enough so that the giant carnivorous plant couldn't react before reaching in front of it.

With a swing of his sword, he cut the carnivorous plant in half, and it fell helplessly and lifelessly to the ground.

"I've really improved, huh?"

He was sure that before he couldn't have finished off this monster so fast, and without even using his mana to improve his body, feeling his improvement, he smiled with satisfaction.

He said this as he looked at the purple blood that began to stain the river water.
