Amusement Park - Horror House - Uncanny

Philip, Mathilda, Natsuki, Natsume, and Mei'er came out of the limousine and went towards the entrance of the amusement park. Marlo drove out towards the parking lot and waited

Philip at least pulled his hood up to cover half of his face. Although, he looked suspicious but the perfect proportions of his lips and his clear cheeks are noticeable when someone looked at him closely

They then went towards the ticket booth to buy the entrance ticket to the amusement park. It was a good thing that there was no line and they entered the park easily

They entered the amusement park and saw a lot of people of different ages. Children were smiling as they hold the hands of their parent, couples walking together as they hold their shoulders and hands, and several friends who were bantering with each other

Philip looked at these people and felt bitter. He once experienced this feeling when he was a child with his parents. But he couldn't remember the feeling and already became numb

He shook his head and forget about it once more. He focused at the people in front of him and he will try to at least enjoy being in the amusement park

"Whoaaa!"

Natsume exclaimed in awe and Natsuki had a gentle look on her face. Mei'er's eyes was glowing as she looked around and saw the rides

The ferris wheel turns slowly as people rode on it. The rollercoaster carts roar as it zips through the tracks and the riders screamed as it went through a loop. People were also screaming in a scary looking area or a building. The pirate ship swung left to right as people ride on it

The group saw half of the entire amusement park and their eyes widened from awe

"So, where are we going first?"

Philip asked. He doesn't want to lead everyone for now and let others enjoy themselves

"Hm... Since the sun is still up... Why don't we go over there?"

Natsuki pointed his hand towards a certain direction and everyone else followed where her hand is pointed

Each has a different reaction upon seeing the attraction. Mathilda took a step back, Natsume's facial expression changed, and Mei'er is unfazed

Philip smiled and almost laughed. Natsuki pointed at a large horror house while smirking and her eyes smiles

"Alright! Let's go there!"

Philip said as he started to walk forward. Natsuki immediately followed so that no one would back out. Mei'er naturally followed Natsuki and went closer to Philip. Mathilda and Natsume hesitated to follow but they don't have other choice

As they walked towards the horror house, Philip was smiling from excitement but it immediately changed to a frown

Considering the transition of Mysticism Age and the trace Mana around the atmosphere that are being released from the Mana Hotspots, if this horror house actually is haunted in one way or another, then spirits of different kinds should at least be roaming around the area since the place has been scaring people which can attract these spirits

He thought of this because he knows that Mana can be a medium for these spirits to become more powerful and active since Mana is energy. Spirits would love this mysterious energy because they are also made of constructs of energy

Philip doesn't only consider spirits of thr deceased, he is also thinking of all spirits such as elemental spirits, dark spirits, youkais, ghosts, creatures from the spirit world that are mentioned in fantasy books like elves or dwarves, or even demons and angels

He doesn't know if they will encounter some spirits or not because the Mana in the air is very thin. A part of him wants to see a spirit and a part of him don't, because if he did, more complex developments will come

As they walked next to some plants, the plants began to bloom pretty flowers as Mei'er walked past them. Only one or two people saw this happening but they, themselves, are ability users who are hiding in secret, so they won't call Mei'er out. Although, one of them are considering to warn Mei'er

A patroller, who roams around in this place often, saw the flowers and becamr confused

After a few minutes of walking and sightseeing around, they have finally arrived at the line going to the horror house. Since it's a horror house, only a few came up in line, about 30 people. Also, only a few people panned their eyes at Philip and looked at him for a second, only to look away. They found Philip as an odd person because he wore a hood that hid half of his face when the Sun was up. They didn't notice his extraordinary lips and nose

As they are waiting in line, Philip was in front of the rest while Natsuki is behind him as she is holding Mei'er's hand. Every now and then, Philip and Natsuki were having idle conversation

Meanwhile, Natsume was taking several breathe in and breathe outs as she held her chest. She was preparing her heart as to not embarrass herself. On the other hand, Mathilda's legs were shaking and trembling as her arms were crossed, different from her usual calm self as she clasped her hands in front of her bladder

Philip noticed Mathilda's feeling and he became scared as to what might happen. He went closer to Mathilda and whispered

"As the Homeowner, I forbid you on activating your ability inside the horror house until we leave. If you do, you will be punished"

"What?! That's not fair!"

Philip then left and returned to the front without batting an eye to Mathilda. If Mathilda would ever use her ability due to panic, who wouldn't know what to do because there will be a lot of staff that will witness it, and using Fate Control is a waste

Several minutes later, the group is almost about to enter the horror house. There is just one group in front of them before it's their turn

Just then, the girls in the group in front of them started to whisper to each other while looking behind them towards Philip's group. Philip was alarmed as he already knew what they were talking about. They must have noticed the perfect proportions of his lips and mouth which looked divine, to the girls' eyes anyway

He then slowly looked to the left to at least hide the half of his lower face. But this action cost Philip because the fabric of the hood on the right side of his neck stretched and revealed his sharp jawline

The girls started to audibly gulp their saliva as they stared at the jawline. It was then that a girl came closer to Philip and called out to him

"Uhm, excuse me, mister?"

The girl slightly crouched down and shifted to the right to see Philip's eyes under the hood if he would look at her. Philip was sweating bullets and hoping that the girl won't see his entire face and cause a commotion

Fortunately, seems like luck is on Philip's side because the park attendee called out to the next group that will enter. The boys called out to the girls but they lagged behind because they wanted be satiated by looking at the attractive jawline

As the girls disappeared into the horror house, Philip covered his face under the hood with his right hand. He was flustered and cringing because he never experienced this before his body was reformed

Such an unfair world he was living in. It's a good thing that he controls half of it

"Are you alright?"

Natsuki came to his side and asked

"Yeah, it's becoming dangerous... But I like the thrill. It's just that our trip may be interrupted"

"That's fine, as long as we had fun, right? That was the original plan anyway"

"Yeah, you're right. I kinda feel bad"

"Don't be"

It was then that Mei'er, who was on Natsuki's right side, switched places in between Natsuki and Philip. She then held Philip's right hand and looked up to him

Philip looked down and smiled at Mei'er. Mei'er also smiled back

It was about time for the park attendee to call Philip's group and enter the horror house. That was when Mathilda and Natsume came closer towards Philip. Natsuki only looked at them while smugly smirking at them. Philip rolled his eyes playfully

Them, the park attendee called them as he pulled the chain to let them enter. They walked forward while sticking close to Philip as they entered the dark curtained tunnel

Meanwhile, at the same time in the mansion, Justine surveyed the land and talked to the maids, butlers, and security personnel. She also visited Vanessa and Bea as they are still busy with their work. She also visited Alucard and had an idle talk

After a few hours, she went to Camille's room and knocked

"Come in"

Camille said with a lively tone. Justine entered and saw Camille smiling as she was sitting in front of the window while staring outside

Justine's eyes widened before talking to Camille

"How are you feeling?"

"You know, I feel livelier than before! I must thank you for the gift!"

"You're welcome!"

Justine gave a wry smile. She suddenly became worried after she analyzed the energy around her

The Cursed Energy, from her Curse of Clotting and Curse of Bleeding from the ring, was screaming and violently swirling arounf her like a helix

She talked to Camilled while observing the Cursed Energy. She saw that the Cursed Energy, with their opposing effects, were cancelling each other, in a way that an explosion of another kind of energy was being released everytime a specific amount was cancelled by each other

Justine thought that it was alright since nothing bad was happening and her danger senses are not acting up

Since there was a new kind of energy that was being generated after the cancellation process, she needed time to fully analyze these energy signatures with Energy Contemplation. She could hope that Energy Insight would identify this kind of energy

Maybe she could consult Philip and tell her about what she saw and he may know something because he easily identified the function of the ruby ring

After several minutes, Justine wished Camille well and left. She then went and check on to Jude if he has left his room

As she arrived in front of Jude's room, she was surprised that the circulating Sword Energy became more powerful. She became worried at Jude because he hasn't left his room ever since. If only the intesity of the Sword Energy was the same as earlier, then she would manipulate the energy and let herself in

But this time, it's different and she needs to analyze it again because there was another energy signature that is being mixed in between

She did not come closer and left, afraid that the turbulent Sword Energy will cut her. She then went to the sleeping Merry and fed her. The dog was scared at first but she understood after she was given food. She is only confused that this girl was not suspicious at her at all because she was found in the middle of nowhere in Antarctica

That's how Merry the dog is intelligent and her true nature still hasn't been discovered by anyone. Well, one might know in the future

A few hours later, it was already night time, Justine was on the very top of the mansion, floating and meditating as a thin film of blue light is surrounding her in a sphere and faint blue light is surrounding the mansion and the land in a dome

After a few second, she opened her eyes and her blue pupils were glowing. She uncrossed her legs and landed the tip of her right foot in the thin antenna of the mansion. She looked at the direction of the city and observed it

She could see thin Mana circulating around the city that is coming from the sky. The currents of Mana is like the currents from the ocean that flows from the sky, coming from somewhere else, to the city

"The time is nigh"

Justine muttered as she is expecting that the news of the transition of Mysticism Age will become public. She could only hope that the plan of the Secret Organizations will work to avoid conflict, war, anarchy, and chaos to the world and lead it to destruction

A few hours back, Philip and the others have walked a quarter of the way through. It has been 5 minutes and they were still near the entrance which slowed down the batch of people to enter

"WAAAAAHHH~!!!"

It was because of Mathilda. Just as the staff that are dressed in scary costumes such as zombies, ghouls, mummies, and demons wete scaring the group, Mathilda kept screaming and pulling Philip

There was an instance that she sat down while pulling Philip's arm as tears flowed from her eyes. There was also an instance where she would clutch Philip's arm with her whole body and Philip could feel two mounds touching his shoulder

She also holds Philip's head and clutched his hair. His hood was already taken off minutes ago and his face is revealed to the world

The staff were stunned upon seeing Philip and didn't want to scare them anymore and just wanted to see him. Instead, they became more enthusiastic about their job and increased the intensity of their scares, to the point that it seemed real

This caused Mathilda to scream loudly in fear once more as the people outside can hear her

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!"

"Wow, it must be really scary inside"

A man commented as he was embracing his girlfriend around the shoulder while they were waiting in line

Mathilda was almost on Philip as she crawled up on his body. She used his knees and waist as a stepping stone. Philip's face is already on her chest as she wrapped her arms around his head. It was then that Mathilda is already sitting on Philip's shoulder as his head is between her thighs. Her arms are wrapped around his head as he hunched down and two mounds were touching the top of his head

Mathilda looked around while cluthcing him as tears fall from her face

"I WANNA GO HOOOME! HEEEEELP!!!"

Philip, on the other hand, was not flustered nor annoyed at all. His eyebrows are furrowed and his mouth is opened, as if his jaw dropped from seeing something amazing and absurd

Meanwhile, Natsume was clutching Philip's sweater from the behind as she burrowed her face. She pulled her body closer so that nothing will be able to touch her and she won't see nothing. Philip also felt two mounds touching his back

Natsume didn't mind the naughty person who was loud and kept moving around like a worm to her left, as long as she hid her face behind Philip. There were two things were running on her mind, keep her face hidden from the scary stuff and hide her blushing face as she holds on to Philip

Meanwhile, Mei'er was unfazed at first and found it amusing that people were dressing scary costumes to scare others. Then, she became afraid because the people began acting strange, different from ordinary

She began to let go of Philip's hand and wrap her arms around Philip's waist and burrowed her face on his clothes. She occasionally peeked her eyes to look at the people if they returned back to normal, only to be creeped out and burrowed her face again

Philip almost lost balance from Mathilda's weight since she is pulling him to the left when she was climbing. He lifted his left arm to support Mathilda and held her back so that she won't fall. He's also confused at what to feel on his arm and shoulder, as well as his head. He also moved his right hand and placed it above Mei'er's head to pat it and to comfort her

He walked slowly because he is literally carrying Mathilda, adapting to Mei'er's walking speed, and also adapting to Natsume becausr it's hard to walk when she's literally against on his back

Natsuki just walked behind them and enjoyed what she was watching. She covered her mouth multiple times and giggles

The staff tried to scare her but it has no effect. Although, Natsuki was confused as to why the staff suddenly acted different. They became more creepy and weird that even her had chills in her spine at one point

Several minutes have passed and they are almost at the end of the horror house, Mathilda's eyes have already became swollen and Natsume and Mei'er still has their face burrowed on Philip's clothes. Natsume is aready walking beside Philip

It was a good thing that the group before them did not stay and wait for them, because if they did, the girls would see his face and that will be the start of chaos in the amusement park. Also, the group after that still hasn't caught up, despite their slow pace

It was then that they can see the exit of the horror house, but Philip slightly slowed down because his danger senses were spiking. He didn't know whether it's killing intent or just an uncomfortable feeling

Philip suddenly turned his head towards the corner of the hallway. The corner was very dark, pitch black, and nothing was there, even the props that are abundant throughout the horror house yet there's nothing in the corner

This is the uncanny valley if Philip were to describe it

His emotions began to swirl. Even though he is not afraid of anything at all, there is always one and one concept only that can make him afraid. It's the unknown and he can't control it even if he has to

Right now, the corner that he's looking at has an unknown feeling inside of it. He needs light to illuminate the corner immediately

It was then that two white balls appeared in that very corner that looked like two eyeballs. Philip immediately turned his head away and walked a little faster. He wasn't sure if that was a spirit and he wouldn't risk finding it out because it was staying in an uncanny, bizarre, odd, corner, where no one would easily spot it

Cold sweat began to form on his back and forehead. Good thing that none of the girls saw that since two of them were hiding their faces and one had blurry eyes from the water. Natsume didn't notice it and walked away

Finally, they reach the end of the hallway and exited the horror house

Upon exit, there were several people that are looking towards them. Philip can see the group of girls and a few boys from earlier. Seems like they waited for him to come out

Fortunately, Mathilda was still on Philip's shoulder while her arms and chest is covering half of his face. Only his right eye is exposed

"Mathilda! Stay in that position!"

"Okay..."

Mathilda reply as she sniffed her nose. She wiped her tears with her right hand since her left arm is covering his left eye and mouth

"Mei'er, Natsume? We're already outside"

Mei'er lifted her head and looked around and saw people staring at them. She immediately held Philip's hand to show them how close they are

Natsume slowly lifted her head and slowly walked away while hiding her face. Seems like her fear disappeared halfway through and she became flustered instead. She stood next to Natsuki, who had her right hand on her hip. She looked at Natsume with her eyes and gave her a pat on the back

"Stop thaaat!"

Natsume woke up from her fantasy and hit Natsuki as she waved her hands. Natsuki raised her hands to block Natsume's slaps playfully while she is giggling

"Natsuki, let's go!"

Philip called out and he started to walk. Natsuki and Natsume stopped fighting and followed Philip from behind

As they walked through, the people's eyes followed them as they were confused at what's happening and judged Philip for it

There was a man, who has a maid, sitting on his shoulder while hugging him intimately without getting embarrassed. The man is also holding a little girl's hand like she's his daughter while being followed by two identical looking blonde girls

Who wouldn't want to witness this situation?

They then quickened their pace and turned a corner, enough for the people to look away since they are not in their field of vision anymore. Meanwhile, the group of girls follwoed them
