Yeah, I remember, the rat regrows its leg.

PETER

As the video progresses the rat becomes increasingly irritated by its new leg. Eventually, the leg begins to grow scales, then claws. Before you know it, the entire rat has transformed into a monster and begins lashing out at its container.

GWEN

Jesus... Poor thing.

PETER

Yeah, wait until you hear they've done it with PEOPLE.

Peter pulls up another video.

Norman Osborn approaches a scaly woman with a visible tail.

NORMAN

Winona, you have to understand, we didn't mean for the serum to-

WINONA

To WHAT? You've killed me Norman! You think I could go out like this? I'm a MONSTER! YOU made me a monster!

NORMAN

You chose to let the scorpion out, it stung you, YOU face the consequences of your own actions.

(To Scientists)

Play the sonic sound.

Norman leaves the room.

WINONA

No, NO... NO!

Winona screams in agony as the sonic sound plays and the video ends.

GWEN

That's disgusting!

PETER

You see now? We have to get this to someone!

Gwen nods before taking the USB.

GWEN

I'll take this to my dad.

PETER

What about the files?

GWEN

Spider-Woman can handle that after the news breaks and a search is conducted.

Peter sighs.

PETER

Good, I hope Osborn rots for this. And to think I was bff's with his son.

GWEN

Let's just hope Harry wasn't involved, okay?

Gwen picks up the files and puts them in Peter's drawer.

Peter places the vials on his desk and the pair sit on his bed together.

INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - MORNING

May wanders around the house with a laundry basket. She decides to wait for Gwen and Peter to leave the room to go in after them. In the meantime, she goes downstairs and places the laundry basket by the washing machine.

She takes a seat on the couch and turns on the TV. A newscaster is reporting on the attack on the school yesterday. May changes the channel to something better.

Gwen walks down the stairs and comes over and sits with May.

Good morning, Gwen.

GWEN

Was Peter not awake when you got up?

GWEN

No, I didn't want to disturb him.

MAY

Why? Lazy boy sleeps for half the day most of the time.

Gwen wraps herself up in a blanket from the couch.

May gets up and walks to the kitchen.

She brews two cups of coffee.

May hands Gwen a cup and sits back down with her.

Gwen chokes on her drink, not expecting May to be so presumptuous.

Nothing! We just watched a movie. A few movies.

MAY

How long were you up for?

GWEN

Couple hours...

May looks at Gwen, wanting more.
