Tide shot forward after his declaration. Ariel's heart almost melted into a puddle when she heard his words.
"You can do it, honey!" Her voice rang through the enclosed training room as she cheered for her beloved.
Tide wielded his blade like it was a part of his body. His body moved in a way that complemented his sword style, and a trail of light followed behind it.
'Is this...?' Mian's eyes widened when he saw Tide's movements. He had long since heard about the martial arts that humans and other races with weaker bodies usually used, but he had never seen it in action. The closest that he had seen was just a glimpse of Daven's Beast Art. It was not the same thing, though.
Tide's control over water that was granted by his Lesser Magical Insight Gift meshed well with his martial art. He intentionally used the water to blunt the edge of his sword, as the martial art would make any hit dealt to be a serious one.
