The reason for the war
As Cain continued to grow in size and power, broad smiles spread across the faces of the Ancient Dragons. Every centimeter of his expansion brought them more confidence, knowing their leader's strength would significantly increase their chances of survival in the perilous journey through the Demon King's Castle.
Cain's presence was a beacon. The stronger he became, the greater their hope of overcoming the dangers ahead. The Ancient Dragons marched forward, confidence and bravery surging through their bodies. Each clash with the Replicas became easier, no longer posing a real threat, as the scarlet dragon led them in, overwhelming their enemies with ease.
However, not everyone was faring as well. Far from the Ancient Dragons, the forces of the Sun Church were struggling. The angels gasped for air, their bodies riddled with wounds as they barely managed to defeat yet another wave of Replicas.
