Cain descended into the depths of the Immortal Forest, his scarlet wings folding as he landed on the moss-covered ground. The air was thick with a mix of life and decay, putting him immediately on guard. His sharp eyes scanned the surroundings with intensity, and the Eye of Gluttony was activated to perceive hidden dangers.
Ancient trees loomed around him, their bark dark and twisted with the taint of Depravita Essence. Yet Cain knew that as long as these trees had not developed spirituality, they posed no threat to him.
Some trees appeared almost humanoid, their knots resembling bestial faces frozen in silent screams or whispers. The atmosphere was dense with energy, and Cain could feel the subtle vibrations of life, though it felt more like a stagnant pool than a thriving force.
