Chapter 7

At first, she wasn't keen on accepting my request, but a little bit of pleading eyes and a handsome face did the trick. Thought I had to wait for her to finish her shift and change into some new clothes. By the time she finished her shift and changed into some more informal clothes, night had already fallen on the City of Orario.

"You look beautiful my dear advisor."

"And you are as annoying as I believe you will be, sir."

"Ahem, do you know a place where could eat? "

"There are a lot of places in the city where we could eat, but seeing that this is your first time here, I presume I could take you to the Hostess of Fertility.

"Miss Fannett, as much as I would want to believe in your words, the name of that restaurant sounds really suspicious. I mean Hostess of Fertility sounds more like a brothel's name than a restaurant one, but then again I'm new here."

"I assure you, sir, that your worries are unfounded and I hope that you won't talk about that inside, it's rude and unprofessional."

We continue to walk and I to fail to tease her until a lovely-looking girl greeted us.

From my experience, I could easily see that she was an elf or at least has some elven ancestry. She presented herself as Ryuu and I've got to say that her sky blue eyes were really beautiful.

"Ahem."

Seeing that I got caught starring at her, I quickly turned my head away from her and at the same time I start to wonder if getting stronger actually makes one dumber, I mean look at Vali and any devil…it can't be right, right?

Thankfully Rose saved my reputation and explained some things to Ryuu about me and how I'm a new adventurer. She also told her that I was new in the city and that she wanted to give me a tour so that I don't wander into some misunderstanding or get myself mugged.

After that, Ryuu took us inside and found us a table to sit and order.

"What would you like to order sir?"

"TO be honest with you, Miss Ryuu, I don't have any idea, but if I may bluntly ask, I would love to hear your recommendation."

"Well, I would recommend you some of our famous soup and some steak with crushed potato."

"Then I would have that, thank you."

Strangely enough, I thought that it would be awkward to talk to Rose. One of the reasons was surely her professional attitude, but after a few jokes and one or two slightly personal questions, we both slowly start opening to each other. Maybe not as friends, yet, but surely as some acquaintances.

I hope I'm right, but I tend to believe that Rose had a tragic past regarding someone because every time she talked about going into the dungeon she appears to be sad, that or maybe it's the fear of losing her loved one after all anything is possible inside the dungeon.

Just as I thought that there won't be any problems tonight, the girl that was bringing us our dinner panicked when she looked at me and dropped our food on the group. What a drag, yeah I'm handsome and It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I'm an unknown god that controls souls and that in front of me was standing Freya in disguise, at least that's what my [Observe] skill was telling me and it seems that she is scared for some bizarre reason? Now I'm confused, yeah, I'm a god, my soul is clearly different, but is that reaction necessary?

"Are you ok, Miss? "

As a gentleman, I gently took her hand and took her away from that mess. Thankfully the after sending them a glare, most of the adventurers returned to their things, minus a group that my [Observe] told me that are part of the Loki's familia. More troubles coming on my way, just fucking great. Just fucking sends nuke and be done with me.

You know what, I'm done for tonight, I'm going to find an inn to sleep in.

After putting Syr on my chair, I walked towards Mia and paid for the food for both of us and at the same time told her that it wasn't the girl's fault that she got scared. Thankfully Mia understood that and told me that it was alright, unfortunately for me, as soon as I walked out of the door both Rose and Loki's familia stopped me.

"Yes, Miss Rose?"

"What happened, Yoshida-san?"

"I scared the poor girl, it seems that my aura can spook the weaker people and I don't want to make any people more scared. It was a mistake and I paid for it, I'm sorry Rose that I made this date awkward, but I promise you that I will take you out soon, see you tomorrow ."

Sigh, some people don't understand a signal even if you draw them. As soon as I said my goodbyes, the wolf boy grabbed my shoulder.

"You have one chance to explain what the fuck are you doing or I'm going to snap your head little pup."

"Who do y.."

He didn't have the time to continue his stupid sentence, because as soon as I heard his tone I punch the Oblivion out of his face, and to be honest it felt great beating some young master syndrome abominations.

His friends were shocked seeing that some random dude just punched a level six as if he was a level one. Thankfully for them, before anyone could annoy me any longer, Rose decided to interfere.

"Riveria-san, I'm sorry for what Yoshida-san has done, but please don't pick a fight that could bring a disaster to your familia."

"Rose-san, could you explain to me what's happening, please?"

"I can't say too much about him, but please trust a guild employ and get Bete-san back. It will be too problematic for both parties if Yoshida-san truly gets angered."

For a second, all of the top adventures from Loki's familia were dumbfounded by what Rose just told them, and to be fair, who would be? I don't look or emanate a strong aura like others' adventures and it's true that other than Freya's familia, there weren't too many adventurers strong enough to fight the might of the Loki's familia.
