Scarlet – Firsts
There was a reason why I fell in love with the 21st century. Strolling across what once was a ballroom reminded me of that. The fashion from the other centuries was a killer. This century has advanced technology and clothing to make our lives better. Instead of walking or riding horses, vehicles were invented. No more uncomfortable dresses and suffocating corsets. Females could wear pants, short skirts, and even shorts. Comfortable shoes came into the mix. Everything was lifesaving.
The tail of the dress swept past the sprouted flowers between the cracks of the floor. Once upon a time, this castle was a mark of beauty. The floral design on the walls faded, but one could tell the color used to be vibrant. It still had a romantic and amazing aura that soothed any individual. I guess this was why Tessa wouldn't stop bragging about it. According to her and Finn, couples utilized the atmosphere for that reason.
