Two days had gone by...
Nobody could tell what news the morning would bring.
Kian had no sleep on his eyes. They were wide open, staring up at the ceiling, lying beside his deep in sleep wife.
He had returned late last night, about three hours past midnight. Tinsley and the baby were both asleep.
Not trying to make any noise, he stepped inside the partial lighted room and closed the door behind him.
He had gotten rid of the shoes before entering the room so that he would not make any sound. The shoes were in his hands and he moved towards the crib first to check upon baby Ava.
She was sleeping, eyes half-open. He smiled to himself. Some would think she was awake. He laid a chaste kiss on her baby head, making sure not to wake her majesty up.
He then disappeared inside the changing room attached to their bedroom and discarded his working clothes and returned only wearing his briefs.
