Chapter 31: The Plan Commenced!

We are now near the entrance of the palace gates, but we all stopped like what we talked about.

"Daisy and Granger. Go!" Zandre cignaled in a low voice, and we just nodded as an answer.

"How should we do it?" I asked and he just looked at me with dull eyes. "What?! Don't just stand there looking at me so lowly!" I whispered being pissed at what he is doing.

"You're weak, aren't you?" For the first time that I saw his facial expression changed. His eyebrows knitted, like he was curious with something unexpected. It made ny blood boil.

"Take back what you said, you dim-witted stone!" I almost shouted and I didn't cared if we will caught attention. He's just being too personal, it makes me mad.

"Yeah~" Although I heard him mumble under his breath, I couldn't understand a thing. He then held his gun and puts the same bullet he used back then.

"So that's it!" I said and felt a quick surge all over me and I saw my wand changing color. He pointed his gun at me and I pointed him my wand. I was about to release the energy I am feeling when...

"Shoot! There!" He pointed his gun towards the inside part of the palace, making me follow him and shoot the same place he did.

And just like earlier, it glowed so powerful, making me cover my eyes, or all of us. The phoenix showing itself with its powerful orange like color and before it could even fade...

"Onward! Now!" Tracey shouted and we all entered the palace without second thought.

At first, there were just ten of them guarding the entrance, making it easy for us to slay all of the enemies. But as we walk closer to the castle... The enemies were being doubled, making us outnumbered.

Anyway, after defeating all of those at the gate, the glowing stopped, making us visible to everyone.

"Don't be afraid children! Show us what you really got! Consider this as a training for your mission!" Professor Rylie said and we all nodded as everyone ised their new gears. While I- just used ny wand.

"Oracle's Sword!" I chanted and mu wand turned into a sword. I used it to kill the enemies near me. There are so many of them! If we don't use all of our powers, we might be defeated.

"Jade!" I heard Zandre said, making me look at him. He used his shield to push back the enemies and I was surprised that he kept five enemies intact with him! They couldn't move and Jade used his magic. It was something like a circular thing that when it hit the enemies, all of them vanished in an instant. Cool! That was awesome!

"Comin' through!" I saw Sky using her gears of flight while slaying every enemy in sight. Her gear has this sharp clippy thing attached to the rope, and whenever she uses it, makes her look like she is flying. Her slashes are not normal though. One hit one kill!

"Watch out!" Marc was speeding right at me while his sword glow powerful blue. I was confused for a moment until. "Get out of the way!" He slashed his sword, making me escape and that was the only time I realized, he was aiming for the enemies behind me.

"Thanks!" I said and he just nodded.

Everyone is working well too. Tracey using his sword to slash every enemy in sight. Mye using her flute to attract enemies and fight each other. Rose using her whip one at a time, making the enemies fade in an instant. And Guinevere using the Orb of Luminescence to either control the enemies body or control their mind.

Granger on the other hand, used his gun to shoot everyone out of the way. He also helps other when needed. The trainors are busy helping each other. Professor Eurie with her astonishing gentle touch killing everyone. Professor Greg with his hand to hand skills. Professor Rylie looks like dancing with everyone though killing then at the same time. And Dean Jean has this papers in her hamds that she use to kill the enemies.

And I am just here~ watching all of them do the trick.

"How may I help them?!" I thought panickly when I realized I am just the only one useless. I mean come on! I should prove myself useful just for once. And my blood boils when I feel myself useless. It makes me feel unwanted. And I hate that, because I remember something that I don't want to even think.

"Tch! I hate this!" I shouted and let go of my wand. I felt the adrenaline rush through my veins as I let out my anger. I shouted at the top of my lungs and let out the energy I was holding earlier, and the next thing I knew is that I kneeled and felt like floating. I felt hazy for a bit. Looking down while waving my head to keep myself awake. My hand on the ground.

"Daisy!" Tracey then went to my aid to see if I was okay, I guess~ "Daisy stay with me! Are you okay?" He asked and I just nodded as an answer.

"She needs to rest! She used too much of her magic! That was a quick wipe out!" Rose said worriedly, and I quickly looked around. She was right. There's none left with the enemies. I must have wiped them all out after what I did. But hearing the word rest?

"No! I won't rest until I see to it that the palace is safe!" I said and stand up, only to feel dizzy and about to fall. Tracey and Guinevere held to support me out.

"Don't force yourself too much dear~ calm down for a second. I can feel your heartbeat fast. Are you nervous? Scared for some reason?" Professor Rylie asked, so I tried to calm down by breathing heavily and then naturally.

I stand back up to show them that I can still fight.

"We have to keep going. Don't mind me, i'm feeling great now. Thank you Professor." I assured them all.

"Glad to help." He said adn we all continued to run near the palace. And just like earlier, enemies were in the way.

But this time, I didn't held back. I used my power~ okay fine! I did held back, but I am using my ice magic now! I am conpletely freezing everyone I see and then Professor Greg will smash them like sweet potatoes, making them broke into pieces and die.

This continued to go on until we arrived at the palace.
