Chapter 30: Plan

"The palace has been attacked again!" Dean Jean said. And we couldn't even move an inch. We were all too shocked to hear the news.

I tried to talk, but my voice is stuck.

Fuck this throat!

"We have to help them!" Guinevere was the one to talk.

"Thanks for breaking the silence Guin~" I said to my mind.

"She's right! We can't let it slide! Not now that we already know what is happening!" I second the motion.

"But what about the school?" Professor Rylie asked.

"I know who to ask." I smiled reassuring them and ran as fast as I could, back inside the school. Even if still hearing their calls, I still kept on running. Until I arrived at the place I thought of going.

Looking at the door in front of me, I sighed. "Please help us." I said and knocked on the door. "This is Daisy~ are you in there? Mamoru?" I called for him, and then the door opened.

"Huh? What can I do for you?" Ok what? Why does he looked like someone who just got out of bed?!

"Oh~ sorry for the disturbance, but we need your help."

"What for?"

"Can you please take care of the school while we are gone? We need to go to the palace. An urgent matter." I pleaded, clasping my hands together in front of him.

"Really? You want me to protect the school? By myself?"

"I mean, I just want you to lead everyone while we're gone. But don't worry, because the guardian will be with you." I explained again.

"Sure thing, I can manage that, but we have to make a protection for the school. Even if Chang'e Moon is about to fade. The school is still in danger without you guys."

"I know, but don't worry because we will do it." I explained and he nodded. We talked about some things for more informations before...

"Ok then! I'll do my best to help!"

"Thank you Mamoru!" I held his hands with joy, making him surprise and blush. "Oh~ HEHEHE~" I giggled and said. "We'll be counting on all of you!" I said those words while I run towards the place were I know, Inabikari was staying.

"Oh! Hello Daisy~ how may I help you?" With his question, I didn't said anything else but the thing I wanted to request to him. I explained all of it, and he just nods. "I get it, I get it~ don't worry. I know that Mamoru and I can handle the situations here! But you all need to be careful." I nodded at his remark.

"Thank you Kari."

"Hold up a sec." He said and went inside of his house to get his axe like gear. He pointed it up and chanted. "Chang'e Moon might come out anytime~

So I am requesting you to help as out~

Protect the school at all cost~

By my power, shall it be done."

After the chanting, the axe emitted a white light and stopped halfway at the sky. It then started to from a weird white colored crystal, starting to sorround the whole school. Then after that, the light stopped and everything didn't go wrong. "I already put protection around the school. So as long as everyone doesn't walk pass the shield, they will be protected." He explained.

"I am really thankful that I met you Kari."

"Just doing my job. Well, good luck on your journey! Hope you come back victorious!" He cheered and I ran again, back to where I came from.

When I got back, everyone was talking about something I am late to know.

"Oh you're back! Goodness, we thought you went to hide." Guinevere half-jokingly said, and I just pouted at it. "Come on! I know you won't do that!" She hit me by the shoulder and giggled.

"Everything is now settled here! Everyone is safe. So we can now continue with our plan to help the palace." I said and they all nodded as if they already knew what I did. Eeeh~ i'm not surprised at all though.

"We need to go there and fast!" Jade said worriedly. "I don't want to end up seeing corpses and the enemy taking over the empire!" He continued.

"But how would we do that? We don't even have enough horses and carriages to use for?" Sky said and everyone was almost out of hope.

"No! There is still a way. But, i'm not sure if you'll agree to this though."

"Tell us." I said at Marc's remark.

"Well... Some of us needs to ride with us in our horses and the trainors will be inside the carriages." He explained and I nodded.

"Easy as pie." Guinevere said and everyone then walked towards the horses and carriages.

"Wait... Can some of you ride a horse?" Asked Zandre.

"I can!" Tracey said, making Zandre nod.

"Hmm~ then take my horse, and i'll be with Sky." He said.

"I'll be with Tracey then!" Guinevere said and we nodded.

"I'll be with Marc." Mye said.

"I'll be with Jade then!" Rose said.

I don't know why, but I think something is really sus here.

And I guess i'll be with Granger.

"We don't have time to loose, so we have to hurry." I said, and even though I am feeling nervous and weird at the same time, I still tried to talk and encourage them all to start moving.

We then got up the horses and the trainers went with the carriages, and together we start moving away from the school as fast as we could, without second thought.

And as we are moving away from school, I looked back.

"Please be safe. Aurora, help them." I thought and then looked ahead. We were all moving as fast as we could without stopping. So I couldn't really tell where we are at the moment. Another thing is, we are in the middle of nowhere! A desert now!

"Everyone! I already have a plan!" Zandre said, making us all look at him, while the drivers kept on looking ahead. "When we arrive at the empire's gate! Halt! Don't go in straight ahead! We will be conducting an ambush!" He said.

"But what about the queen?" Sky asked worriedly.

"She knows what to do." He said.

"Zandre is right about it. We should surprise the enemy for them to be caught offguard." Tracey said. "But I also have a plan!" He said.

"Please elaborate!" Zandre said.

"Daisy! We will need you and Granger to do what you did earlier." He said, making me look at him.

"But I don't know how we did that! How could we?" I asked and he just looked at me like he was entrusting me or us about something impossible.

"Don't worry. I know what to do." Granger said, only for us both to hear. Making me look at his back.

"Did he whispered for a purpose?" I thought and just nodded.

"Okay! We'll do it. But may I ask for what cause?" I asked and looked at him curiously.

"To make them more surprised. If they will be, it'll be child's play for us to defeat them!" He explained, and we nodded.

"Oh~ and after what Traceler said! The trainors will be starting the attack. We will be your guards behind and beside you all." Zandre said and the trainors all agreed.

We didn't talked again after that, and just continued moving until we saw the gate getting nearer and nearer.

"The Dawn Empire! My home!" I thought and excitedly thought of someone. "I wonder if they're both okay!" I thought again and couldn't keep my excitement anymore. The thing that made me mad though, is the part where I can see smokes emitting from inside of the palace, and as we get closer and closer... We could hear shouting of people in despair, and in pain.

War again, has started. And this is making me traumatized for some reason.
