Chapter 28: Introducing Themselves!

I don't know why but, fighting with this sonata guy makes me heated up! But at the same time... I feel~ calm for some reason. I feel safe like I know he wouldn't hurt me that brutally.

But that question of him, made me think otherwise. And I can't trust him with that.

"Let's end this training. I'm getting bored." Said he and that made me feel mad. How dare he says such a thing?! Does he thinks that i'm a mere weakling just because I said that i'm a nobody?! He's so full of himself, and I hate that kind of person! Also he sounded like Tracey when we first met!

That made me loose myself making ne said...

"Tch! I don't want to use this but. Just to be fair with you." I gathered all of my strength at my wand and felt my power run through it. I still don't want to give them a hint to who I really was, but this man in front of me, really pissed me off.

And by the way... A little but of foretell won't hurt, right?

And I also saw him do something with his gun, so I smirked at this, knowing that we both have a plan to defeat each other, this is a challenge perhaps.

"Oh no- Daisy/Oi! Calm down! Stay at pace!" I heared Guinevere and the other guy from the royal elites shouted. But I didn't care about this, neither did my foe.

"This ends now!" Both of us said and pointed our gears at each other. "Last Bullet/Blood Ode!" There, we casted our spells and like in slow motion, everything was silent.

Then, with a split second. It both hit each other with an explosion so loud!

What surprised me the most though, was the part where the bullet glowed so powerful red and the color started to change into an orange colored light. Then, as to what everyone witnessed. The light started to form a phoenix bird and it cried full of joy until it vanished and the bullet turned into dust! As in literal dust! None can be heard or seen after that.

"What the heck was that?" I asked, still looking at the part where everything happened.

"Unbelievable!" Jade exclaimed and clapped his hands. "You guys parred each other! So awesome!" He said and looked at us both.

"Yeah~ it was awesome, totally... But what we saw there, kinda piqued my attention." The leader of royal elites commented and looked at me.

"Same~ something is really not on the plate here." The woman, Sky said. "Are you keeping a secret from us, by any chance?" She asked and everyone glared at me with what I did.

"What the hell's with the look?! I didn't even thought that they'll be like this!" I crunched my brows and looked at them, as if I am talking to them telepathically.

"HAHA! That thing you saw, maybe was just a flick of the light! I am also surprised by what happened... Or, maybe... It came from him? Did I lost by any chance?" I tried to divert their attention, making them look at the sonata guy.

"That light isn't supposed to look like my cast. It's not mine."

"Then who's cast was it then? It's not mine. My magic was supposed to be blue, not orange~" I lied. Sorry about that, but I really don't want them to know. Especially when everyone at Genesis wants to protect me and doesn't want to leave me yet.

"Hmm~ maybe that was the outcome of both casts? Because of different color, it changed!" Guinevere said as if she was so sure of her answer.

"Impossible! How come an orange color was seen, if both colors were black and blue? It was supposed to be navy." Marc said, making Guinevere gulp silently.

"Oh come on! We're only giving headaches to each other! Can't we just move on? The training's already over. Get over with it already!" Tracey said sounding pissed and was about to leave, when Mye stopped him, and with just one look, he sighed in defeat.

"Well... He's right. Nobody could tell what really happened, maybe a coincidence? So why not rest, i'm also a bit tired to be honest. This flute girl gave me a great fight!" The sword guy from the royal elites commented and sighed wearily.

"My name is Mye!" Mye said honestly with her soft and calm voice. The guy just looked at him and smiled.

"I agree with Marc~ this girl with the whip also made me use my gears more than I usually do with bandits!" Sky also said and I just giggled at the call of Rose, making the latter look at me with a glare.

"My name is Rose."

"Nice to meet you then! Name's Sky Frost! Younger sister of this man right here!" Sky said proudly, making everyone surprised. "I know, I know... It seemed impossible for a sibling to be together all the time, but that's what we really are. Always together since the very beginning! Although it was hard at first." She pouted at the last sentence.

She wore a mixture of silver, gold and purple armor. She has this blades, two of them at both of her waists. And not just that, because she also has something else. Maybe that's what she used to escape Rose earlier. She has yellowish hair.

"Oh? Then you must be?" Guinevere asked while looking at the man in front of him.

"I am Jade Aadila. A former student here at Genesis Academy!" He answered honestly.

"Oh~ so that's why you were able to use magic! Glad to meet you! Guinevere by the way." They shook hands with each other.

Jade wears a white and blue clothing with... I don't know what that thing is called, but it looked like a wing for some reason~ a design for his dress by the way. Two hanging like cloth at his back and his orb always circles around him. He wore gloves thay seemingly looked like a driver's. And he has white hair.

"Marc Gabriel here! And I am so proud to meet you all!" He said and we all looked at him. One thing I noticed about him, is that... He is a cheerful type of person. A typical happy-go-lucky type.

He also has white hair like Jade, but what he wears is a blue armor and a big sword at his waist. It matches the color of his armor too.

"Just call me Zandre. I am the general of Dawn Empire's cavalry. And of course, the older brother of Sky." He said and that made us all surprised. He just looked like he was the same age as we are! But he is now a general?! I thought he was just an appointed leader. "I know why you're kinda surprised hearing a 23  years old being a general? Well, my father was the former one of the empire." He explained and looked at Sky.

"Not until the duskians attacked the empire without our notice and killed him." Sky answered, her fist clenching. I saw it, but she calmed herself down. I just hope everyone noticed it.

"Condolences for you both." Rose said and bowed. The two bowed to pay their respects too.

He wears a golden armor that matches with his sword and shield. He does really look like a general with his posture and outfit!

"By the way... Who are you my friend? You impressed me earlier with your speed. You're not like everyone here!" Zandre said and smiled proudly. But he just smiled awkwardly when Tracey didn't answered him and just looked up.

"AHEHE~ He's not really the type of person who talks to strangers~ I apologize for his stone like behaviour." Guinevere answered with embarrassment. While nudging Tracey. But... He just doesn't answer.

"What a coincidence~ we have that kind of person in our group too!" Marc said, making us all look at him. "And guess who?" Everyone looked at the person he was referring to...
