Chapter 1:A good morning.

The curtains in my room were drawn open. I could hear the movements in my room though I was relactant to open my eyes. No one dared to wake me up unless I instructed so. I slowly opened my eyes but didn't dare to move my body, "Good morning princess," it was my personal maid, I looked at her without responding and I could see the fear in her eyes,noticing that I responded "Good morning Farah, how was your night." I rarely asked such questions and could see their questioning eyes as they looked at each other. And Farah finally answered, "It..... it was good my princess" I knew the place maids and guards feared me but it really hurt me to know that my personal maids did as well. "Is my water bath ready." I said getting off bed. "Yes my princess" I went in to take my shower and on coming out my clothes were ready. I had them on and headed for breakfast. As I was walking to the dining, I could hear the whispers of the maids. "No one can ever tell that princess Alina is the last daughter of king David Anderson,she is always so bossy and who can tell that she is in charge of the army of the kingdom of Argente?" I had five elder sisters making me the sixth and the last and all of them had what they headed. My father was not blessed with a son and so one of the princesses had to be the crown princess,but, I knew my father would consider my sister Anayah who was in charge of the kingdom finances. "Good morning father," I said kissing his hands as it was a way of seeking the king's blessing in our kingdom. "Good morning Princess Alina, I thought you had gone for your morning training!" He looked at me surprised and I could notice my sisters and mom gazing at me as well. "Well father I decided to have breakfast with the family today, it's been long." He looked at me smiling and said "I never thought about that but now that you are here please sit next to me I must confess,I have missed you." I could feel the envy my sisters felt but I still sat next to my dad. "Princess how about a challenge after breakfast" My father suddenly broke the silence in the dining, "I looked at him surprised.No one in the family dared me in a challenge since it was said my fighting techniques were unexplainable. At a times I could hear palace maids say am not fully human but I didn't bother. I remember once I almost killed one of my men in a challenge just because he gave me a scratch. For this reason I was reluctant to say yes but I noticed everyone looking at me expecting an answer and I finally responded "What are the rules of the challenge." I asked still focusing on my food. "None just be careful am your father and the king" I new what he meant by that and I nodded in agreement."Farah, prepare my outfit at once". "On it princess Alina" She said leaving the dining. "Hedy!" He was one of my men who acted as my personal guard. "Yes princess" He responded going down on his knees, "I hope my swords and daggers are well prepared, if not you know what to do and talk to the general to prepare the king's swords, he is my opponent, I hope you know what I mean," I knew I was too much but I didn't care. "I will do as you wish my princess." He said and left immediately.
