MEET BACK IN THE HOSPITAL

In the hospital hallway, people were passing by with their respective activities. The Nurse went back and forth carrying trolleys filled with medicine.

From a distance, a handsome man was seen being the center of attention.

"Who's he?" Whispered the Nurse who saw the man.

"Oh my gosh, he's handsome. Does he want to visit or get treatment?" Another whisper.

An uproar had occurred among the nurse with the arrival of the man.

"Where's Monica?" He muttered to himself, his eyes looking around to find the room Monika mentioned earlier.

Monika who saw her boss from a distance, immediately got up from her seat. "Mr. Leo, I think it's Mr. Leo," she muttered.

Kiara who was sitting next to her looked at Monika. "What is it?" Ask Kiara.

"You wait here a moment," said Monika to Kiara, then walked towards her boss. "Mr Leo!" Call her then.

Leo who felt his name was called immediately turned to Monika.

"Mr. Leo, why don't you just call? Let me pick you up outside," said Monika.

Instead of answering, Leo asked back. "Who is sick?"

Monika explains to Leo how he got to the hospital. "The child is still being treated by a doctor, maybe his leg is broken."

"You forgot, we have an important meeting today?!" Leo asked with a sharp look.

Monika who felt guilty lowered her head. "I didn't forget sir, sorry."

"Fortunately, our client has postponed our meeting for today. And so do I, there just happens to be another meeting nearby," Leo said.

"Sorry, I won't repeat it." Monika feels more and more guilty. "Oh, I'm not alone here. My friend was there, I left her alone. Come on, sir, shall we go there?" Invite Monika.

"I don't have much time," Leo replied. His gaze swept across the room, until finally Leo's eyes fell on the figure of a beautiful girl who was sitting propped up on a chair.

"Kiara?" He mumbled softly.

"What, sir?" Asked Monika who heard not clearly.

"No," Leo replied by looking in the direction where Kiara was sitting, making Monika follow where Leo was looking.

"Do you know my friend?" Ask Monika.

"Friend?" Leo asked.

"Yes, the girl you saw was my friend. She came here with me with the child who had an accident," replied Monika. "Come on sir, let's go there. Poor thing, she's alone."

Leo did not immediately follow Monika but just stood still, like a confused person. His body suddenly became sweaty.

"Come on, sir," said Monika again seeing her boss just standing there.

Inevitably, Leo finally followed Monika from behind. Leo had a nervous look on his face.

"Kiara," called Monika.

Kiara who was looking down, looked at Monika.

"Kiara, sorry to leave you for so long. Introduce, this is my boss, Mr. Leo," said Monika.

Kiara's gaze went straight to Leo. His gaze pierced straight into Leo's eyes. Kiara's previously calm face suddenly turned red.

"Kiara, what's wrong with you?" Asked Monika who saw the change in expression on Kiara's face. "Are you ill?"

Kiara was silent. His heart was trying to control his emotions, because she realized now that the situation didn't allow her to be angry.

"It's okay," Kiara replied averting her gaze from Leo.

Leo himself tried to stay calm, even though his heart was already uncertain, afraid that Kiara would curse him in front of the crowd.

"Sir, introduce yourself. This is Kiara who helped me," said Monika.

Leo immediately extended his hand as a sign of introduction but Kiara kept quiet.

"Kiara!" Reprimand Monika, feeling strange with Kiara's behavior, who did not welcome her boss's hand.

Kiara remained silent, not welcoming Leo's outstretched hand. Because his hand was not welcomed, Leo finally pulled his hand back.

"Sorry, sir," said Monika feeling displeased with Leo.

"It's okay," Leo replied calmly. "This is not your fault."

Hearing Leo's answer, Kiara glared back at Leo. I want Kiara to be angry but what can I do, now she is in the hospital, is she really angry?

The three fell silent again. To divert the awkward atmosphere, Monika invited Leo and Kiara to sit down. "We'd better sit down, to be more comfortable." The three of them then finally sat down.

From the outside, a husband and wife came walking in a hurry, immediately asked the receptionist. "Excuse me, was there a patient who just had an accident?" Asked the old man.

"Yes. You are looking for patients on whose behalf?" asked the nurse kindly.

"Indra Wijaya," he answered.

"Half an hour ago by accident?" Nurse asked.

"Yes, yes. That's right," answered the two of them in unison.

"The patient is still being treated by a doctor in the operating room, please, ladies and gentlemen, wait a moment," said the nurse.

"Yes, Nurse. Thank you."

Monika who overheard their conversation, immediately approached the two people.

"Excuse me, are you Indra's parents?" Ask Monika. "I overheard your conversation with nurse."

"Yes, we are her parents," replied the woman who looked motherly looking at Monika.

"I'm Monika. I'm the one who took your child to the hospital." Monika stretched out her hand which they both welcomed.

"Thank you very much Miss. Thank you for helping our child," they both said sincerely.

When Monika was meeting Indra's parents and left the two people who were currently sitting quietly with each other, Kiara occasionally played with the ends of her hair. His face looks restless, his eyes always look at Monika who is talking.

"Hm, Hm," Leo cleared his throat trying to lighten the mood. "Are you alright?" Leo tried to start the conversation.

Kiara didn't answer. Let alone to answer the question, just looking at him Kiara looked away. Since there was no answer, Leo fell silent again. Inside his heart was annoyed with Kiara's attitude like that. "Damn it, she didn't answer my question. She's testing my patience," Leo spoke to himself in his heart.

Kiara suddenly got up from her seat, Leo immediately looked at Kiara. "Where are you going?"

Again Kiara was silent, she was busy fixing her sling bag without caring about Leo.

"Monika!" Call Kiara then.

Monika immediately turned and immediately came to Kiara. "What is it?"

"I have to go to school," said Kiara. "Besides, isn't Indra's family already here?"

"Yes, his family has come. We can leave Indra now," replied Monika.

Leo who heard, immediately stood up from his seat. "Monika, you have to go back to the office. Prepare all the documents for tomorrow's meeting," said Leo.

"Yes, sir. I will take Kiara to school after that straight to the office," replied Monika.

"No, no! I'll just take a taxi," Kiara cut off Monika's words.

"I took Kiara," said Monika again. "If you take a taxi you'll be late."

"It's okay! I'll just take a taxi. I'm leaving!" Kiara quickly walked away from Monika and Leo.

Leo was just silent watching Kiara leave. In his heart, he wanted to take Kiara to school but what excuse should be used to take her to school.

After Kiara left, not long after, Leo and Monika also left the hospital. Monika and Leo are taking opposite directions, as Leo has business elsewhere.

"It's like Kiara," Leo spoke to himself in his car after seeing Kiara standing on the side of the road. "Is she waiting for a taxi?"

Leo's car stopped right in front of Kiara standing. The windshield slowly lowered so Kiara couldn't help but want to see who was in the car.

"Kiara. Come on, get on! I'll take you to school," said Leo from the car.

Kiara was silent. His mind was in a dilemma between joining or not. If she went, she would definitely not be able to contain his emotions. If she doesn't come, she can't take lessons at school. "How about this, am I coming or not?"
