Scott's messages with this Nicky girl seem innocent enough. There have only been a couple of times where she says something flirty.

"How come you never said you had a friend whos a girl? Nicky looks like a beautiful girl."

While her goth look is a little heavy, it doesn't take away from her natural beauty. I didn't think Scott would have a friend whos a girl, let alone a goth one.

My eyes meet his, and he smiles, one that doesn't indicate guilt or suspicion. To him, she's just a friend.

"We started hanging out the few times I went out to the ice rink myself. Turns out, she's the owner's granddaughter, and she works there from time to time. She's pretty chill. She watches out for me."

I don't know why, but that bugs me. It shouldn't, though.

He takes this opportunity to remove the phone and stare at me. It makes it all the worse, and I reach out to try and turn his head away, but I'm not strong enough.

"C'mon... Don't stare at me... I don't want you looking at me when I'm like this..."

He raises one eyebrow and gives a half-grin. He grabs my wrists and holds them at my sides.

The difference in our strength is too much, and he soon has complete control over me.

"You don't know something about relationships... I got an important lesson from mom and dad when I was in high school..."

His voice coaxes me in and grabs my attention.

"It's okay to be vulnerable in front of the person that cares about you."

My face flushes more, and I struggle to get free, but he presses me on my back and pins my arms over my head on the couch. The TV is playing in the background.
