ENCOUNTER

Scarlet was moving on the other shops and collecting information when she suddenly sensed hostility towards her. Scarlet became alert and sensed the people in her surroundings. She sensed many people moving in her direction and one of them being the shop owner of the lottery shop.

Scarlet instantly understood what was going on, she had an urge to slaughter them but she had to be low key in order to not reveal her identity in Kirigakure. She sensed that there were two shinobi of hidden mist in this area so she quickly moved towards the forest so that she could quietly deal with them while they are under the surveillance of ninjas.

On seeing Scarlet move towards the forest the shop owner grinned "Poor girl is moving towards the forest but she doesn't know that she will never be able to come out it." He then signalled to some men as they moved towards the forest. The two Kirigakure shinobi noticed this but they ignored this as there many similar things happening in the village. The thought 'Good luck girl, hope you can survive'

If Scarlet were to know their thoughts she teach them a nice lesson. Scarlet moved deep into the forest and after ensuring that there was no one nearby she quickly took out a kunai and some shuriken and waited for them. Soon they arrived, they looked towards Scarlet and said: "Foolish girl now you will know the price of offending our boss."

Scarlet asked coldly "where is that idiotic boss of yours?"

Those people were angered hearing this. Upon a tree, a tall slender woman with fair skin was observing the situation. She thought inwardly 'Hmm this is unexpected. I thought I could save this lady and persuade her to join the rebellion camp but this lady seems to be giving me unexpected surprises'

The shop owner appeared before Scarlet and said "Heh little girl if you had given me the token when I asked you, you would have been happy with the bonus of 1000 Ryo. But now you are going to die here"

Scarlet mocked him "Idiot! Do you really think that you can actually kill me with those 6 or 7 chunin level goons of yours?"

Shop owner shouted "who do you think you are? A mere commoner dare to despise us?"

Scarlet said "Haven't you ever heard that looks are often deceiving? Very well let me show you my real face before I kill you."

After saying this Scarlet removed her disguise and showed them her real face. Scarlet's face was really attractive but the shop owner and the goons could not appreciate the beauty. Their minds were filled with an unknown fear. When they looked at Scarlet instead of appreciating her beauty their instincts were screaming to run far away.

Just within seconds all of them had their forehead and backs drenched with sweat. The shop owner gulped as he thought 'Damn it, what kind of monster did I provoke today'

The lady on the tree thought 'I got to see something very interesting today.' Her green eyes were focused on Scarlet as she thought 'Who are you? I hope you are not an enemy otherwise it would a pity to kill such a beautiful person.'

Scarlet then disappeared and appeared beside one of the goons and stabbed him in his heart, at the same time she threw three shurikens towards the goons which hit their necks. She appeared before another goon and stabbed him and killed the remaining two using shuriken.

Scarlet then said "See I told these goons were just waste" The shop owner was filled with fear, he scolded Scarlet in his heart 'What do you mean the goons were waste. I killed and blackmailed many people with the help of these goons. Now you are saying they are waste? They are not waste it's just that you are too strong.'

Scarlet was getting closer to the shop owner when he shouted "Don't kill me. If you kill me other ninjas will find out about it and then you will be punished for it."

Scarlet mocked "What are you talking about? I will just return to my village after the completion of my mission. By then no one here will be able to touch me."

The shop owner felt despair when he heard her words. He thought 'How the hell did I even provoke a ninja of other villages who was spying in their village. He now understood why she entered the forest.'

Before he could have any other thoughts Scarlet slit his throat. The lady who was on the tree narrowed her eyes when she heard Scarlet's words, she thought 'Seems like you are a spy of another village. I will have to kill you then.'

Scarlet suddenly felt some killing intent directed towards her. She immediately became alert and used her power of space to check the surrounding. She found a huge chakra standing on a tree. She threw a kunai towards the tree as she shouted: "Why don't you come out now?"

Immediately a figure jumped in front of Scarlet. Looking at the fair-skinned slender woman with green eyes and ankle-length, auburn hair Scarlet said "How unexpected I actually got to meet you, Terumi Mei"
