Retaliation

XAVIER

"It's okay, Xavier," the girl who was wearing the same blue scrubs in front of him whom he remembered was called Avalyn or Ava in short was trying to coax him to come back. He didn't understand what was going on with him but for some reason he felt scared.

Something didn't feel right in their surroundings and he wanted to escape. But he was also uncertain where to go. He only managed to come out of their 'prison' as Ava had once disclosed, calling the tiny expanse of the four cornered room which they were locked in.

And then, he just stopped by the hallway, feeling clueless what to do next. It was where Avalyn found him,crouched in a corner. He would have remained crouching if she had not arrived to offer him a bit of comfort.

"I'm here." She added.

Seeing that there was nothing much he could do, Xavier had wanted to reach out to Ava. However, before they could make any contact, he somehow sensed someone approaching.
