Town reconstruction

For starters, I have to see the current situation of the three towns, specifically Lotus, Rose, and Edelweiss.

Since I landed near the Edelweiss, and managed to hear some unrestrained dissatisfied feelings of the townspeople, I was able to understand their situation.

It seems that for the past 25 years while I was gone, the town of Edelweiss was neglected to the point where 2/3 hectares of the farm are not functioning. Some even died out of starvation due to the lack of food which is also monopolized by the former ruler and his fellows.

However, that's not even the worst. The small docking ports at the outskirts of the eastern Edelweiss was also neglected. They are the source of the marine food in this town so without it, everyone will bid farewell to the fishes.

With both food sources being gone, only God's miracle can save them. I mean, Edelweiss is the only town that produce most of the food.

And, no. Oh my, God. The Lotus town's food source comes from here! Without much food production, the mining town is left with nothing to eat!

And that fucker even have the guts to tell me how to become a prosperous ruler?!! What in the world! My head totally hurts!

I wanna behead him now! If not for the fact that he still serve a purpose, I would've killed him mercilessly while my people watch him die! Oh no, my poor subjects.

I held both of my hands to temple and massage it. My veins are appearing from the madness that person just caused. I wanna grapple his neck until his eyes rolled upward.

Sighs.

For now, I have to renovate this city of mine. Starting with the Inn that I just visited right after I landed here.

"System"

Upon calling its name, a HUD or Heads Up Display appear in both corner of my eyes. In my mind, I clicked the home tool, which opens a multiple options of home designs that I used to have when I was playing the game.

After that, I ascend from my throne and fly through the circle of the ceiling and headed towards the rundown Inn. While doing so, I reminisce what happen earlier where the girl Rebecca introduced herself full of passion.

Despite their situation, she still managed to give her best and act like a true person. I like everyone within the Inn for having such respect to me, but I guess she just got a little bit of attention from me by simply being herself.

Minutes later, I arrived just directly above the Inn, specifically around 100 feet above it. The townspeople then noticed me and gave me a cheer, however I have no time to heed them and instead, pressed the "Hostel" menu.

Then instantly after that, all people left the inn.

-----

[Rebecca's POV]

It's me again! I just want you to know what happened earlier. But before that, something appeared in front of me, no wait, in front of those within the Keeper's Inn!

It says, [Reconstruction in Progress: Leave Immediately] I don't know why it said that, but once it appears, my father immediately pack what he can carry and leave while grabbing me and my mother through the door.

Once we went outside, we saw a lot of people staring right directly from our Inn. And once we followed their gazes, we saw a floating figure doing something akin to a miracle!

"Father... Is that him?"

I already knew who it was the moment I saw his strange unique clothes. And when I ask my father who's still grabbing my arm, I heard a weak cry.

"Y-Yes... It's him..."

I can also see my mother crying while smiling, it seems they are getting insane right now.

I also have noticed that the labors of this town are working altogether to remove the furniture from the Inn which I thought they are stealing. My father, however, didn't even stop them from doing so and that's when I realize they are workers.

It took us perhaps around 10 minutes before the entire furniture of the Inn was removed, and that's where the magic happens.

Slowly, the rundown Inn my father owned which was given by my grandfather, began shaking. And from beneath to above, a sparkling dust encircles around the big infrastructure. In the process of doing so, the trail of it left a new, varnished woods completely different from the termite victim of planks.

Me, my parents, and the bystanders, who's number increased, was left agape from the spectacular scene. The once fragile place that could potentially break any minute became a newly born home---, no... it would rather be an understatement to simply call it as new, since it just became an even better building than before.

It's a lot bigger, cleaner, and more decorated place than before. The dirty walls seen from the outside tainted by the trails of termite pathway became a Terra cotta color, signifying its beautiful reconstructed vibe.

And suddenly, my father, once again, burst in tears along with my mother.

"T-Thank you... Thank you, milord... Thank you!"

I am still confused from the occurrence that is just happening. But I do know why my father is crying.

It has been such a long time since my father saw this Inn being so clean, and not only that, so much better than before my grandfather. But my question is, how did he do that?

To reconstruct such building within an hour is a feat that is unheard of... Or maybe I am the only one who doesn't know that? I can see that the bystanders are smiling, expressing genuine relief.

But why? Is it really because of that man?
