Chapter no.115 The Ashura : Amity

[ Divine Continent - The Devil's Forest ]

Xiao Ning'er and the others saw that the portal that Lin Lingtian formed had fully closed . They discussed what they wanted to do next .

" I have some business to conduct in Glory City and the Toxic Forest " Yang Xin exclaimed with the others nodding .

Yu Yan spoke up ," Then Xiao Ning'er and I should go to the Fire Cloud Manor "

" How are we going to do that ? " Sikong Hongyue asked with Xiao Ning'er answering .

" We take a ride ."

Confused Sikong Hongyue wanted to ask what she meant before a portal formed in front of them .

" Right on time , hehehe "

Xiao Ning'er chuckled to herself as Yu Yan said to Yang Xin ," I could ask Tempest to open a portal to the Toxic Forest ."

" No thanks , I want to try out my new strength ."

Yang Xin twirled as she entered her demon spirit form which had undergone a change after the Ritual of Reincarnation .

Long flowing jade hair that exuded with a miasma of an incurable poison . Her skin had taken on a bluish colour . While wearing a blindfold similar to Lin Lingtian , Yang Xin cracked her neck as two horns sprouted out from her forehead .

Yang Xin waved her hand and instantly disappeared as a few seconds later the sonic boom erupted through the sky .

Meanwhile Xiao Ning'er whispered to Sikong Hongyue ," Remind me to get you a demon spirit ."

" Thank you , master ."

Xiao Ning'er just smiled and as Yu Yan entered the portal , she just looked back towards the place where the portal that Lin Lingtian formed used to be and said ," Be careful , dear "

[ Ashura World - Circle of Limbo ]

Lin Lingtian flew out of the spatial portal and landed on the ground . Looking around Lin Lingtian saw the weird environment of the Ashura World . The Land itself resembled a mountain range yet everything around Lin Lingtian looked like it was covered by the abyss itself . Looking at the starless sky , Lin Lingtian's eye widened as he saw a black orb in the sky where a sun would be normally in the Tiny World .

Focusing on the Black orb , Lin Lingtian felt the extreme bending of space all around the land. Lin Lingtian was familiar with this bending of space hence why he was so impressed because that black orb in the sky was a black hole which meant that the Ashura World orbits around a black hole making it a blanet .

" Wood Dao Scripture : Advent of the World Tree "

With a mere thought Lin Lingtian executed the Wood Dao Scripture as small algae on his clothes grew at a rapid rate into a thick root that blocked the sneak attack.

"I am Amity! Who is fighting in my territory!"

"Submit or die!"

A monster half human and half lion ran from afar at an extremely fast speed. Every time the beast's palm landed on the ground, the ground would tremble.

The hands on the upper half of his human body each held a similar energy spear.

Clearly, the sneak attack earlier was his doing.

This was an Ashura from the nearby area.

The moment it sensed Lin Lingtian as not from this world , the Ashura bloodline forced amity to find trouble with Lin Lingtian .

However, what greeted him was Lin Lingtian drawing the Lævateinn as it shifted into the form of a javelin .

Amity , a 7 star Heavenly Fate Realm Expert couldn't even see Lin Lingtian move as through sheer physical strength Lin Lingtian's attack directly became a terrifying bomb.

The interior exploded, and the flesh of the

lion-faced Amity vanished in pieces.

Lin Lingtian was dumbfounded as he expected Amity to put up a resistance against his causal attack and here he thought that it was a powerful Asura Lord .

What territory? He was not very capable, but his tone was quite proud.

Looking over Amity's corpse , Lin Lingtian thought that he should use this corpse to start refining the purified power of madness . Baba Yaga's memories were not much help since it had happened by accident but at least knew that it was possible to produce the purified power of madness .

Lin Lingtian stopped a few meters away from Amity's corpse when he noticed something . He couldn't feel the soul of Amity which was the thing that stopped Lin Lingtian in his tracks rather it was he could sense the presence of a soul from all around him . The land itself was like a corpse .

Lin Lingtian's sudden pause was a great opportunity for Amity who launched at Lin Lingtian before running as far as he could from him .

The dust that covered Lin Lingtian was blown away as a trident tore through the air and directly impaled Amity's heart .

As the mane on his lion's neck was blown by the wind generated by the Lævateinn , Lin Lingtian discovered that there was actually the head of a lion hidden in his mane.

This guy had two heads. No wonder he was

not dead after losing one but that still didn't explain why Amity didn't have a soul in his body .

Amity ripped out the Lævateinn from his heart showing the extreme vitality and resilience of an Ashura as it darted out like a gust of wind.

Amity ran ahead. A straight red light chased him from behind.

Amity's huge figure began to run as it flickered, sometimes left and sometimes

right, trying to escape the flying Lævateinn as Lin Lingtian used the Lightning Dao Scripture to magnetically control it's flight.

The Lævateinn followed behind Amity. No matter how this guy flickered, it flickered and followed. As it got closer and closer.

Finally, the trident stabbed into Amity's butt without any deviation.

The lion roared and jumped up, rolling on the ground. The pain was heart-wrenching .

Then, the ground beneath it suddenly split

open. More than ten Wood Dragons burrowed out of the ground and rolled, wrapping around the half human, half lion, Amity.

The lion's four claws tore crazily.As the wood dragons were instantly eroded away by the power of madness .

However , Lin Lingtian just sent out the Lævateinn in the form of a chain and with Amity now being tied up like this for a moment , it was enough for Lin Lingtian to start getting some answers from Ashura .

His hands grabbed one of Amity's wounds

that had yet to heal, and then he tore it

open with violence from both sides.

Amity's eyes showed fear , as Lin Lingtian frowned .

Amity indeed didn't have a soul .

Frowning Lin Lingtian exclaimed ," I have some questions , you have some answers . Why don't we cooperate with each other ? "

Lin Lingtian ended his sentence with a smile but to Amity that smile was akin to that of the devil's
