Maven glanced at the door when he heard someone knocking.
"It's me, 14." Myrene's voice resounded at the other side of the door. "Pardon, my intrusion your highness." The door opened revealing Myrene.
"How are your wounds?" She asked right away seeing that Maven was sitting down on his bed rather than lying down.
"Thanks to Ms. Suzette, all my wounds had been healed." Maven answered when Myrene entered the room to check on him. "How about Relm and his family?"
"They are alright now. They just need to rest to completely recover." Myrene said.
After that, there was a small awkward silence in the air. Myrene grabbed the stool that was near the door and sat there.
"14, in the end, my actions of running from all of you is a foolish move right? I ended up being more in your debt and even helped the people that I thought I could save."
