A Decision
It was the last thing Shade had expected. A strange voice had dragged him into a darkened area giving him two frightening options. Before him, stood two doors just like before that represented the options he had to choose from.
The first door required him to sacrifice the lives of his teammates to save himself and the second door required him to sacrifice himself to save his teammates. It was a decision that Shade had never expected to be confronted with.
"What the hell is this..?" He cursed underneath his breath. "Hey, the voice that was talking to me earlier! Who are you and what is this place?!"
Sadly, there was no answer. The voice refused to answer, leaving Shade stranded in the darkness. It was evident that his only choice was to choose one of the two doors before him.
Slowly, Shade narrowed his eyes before approaching the first door. He wrapped his fingers around the doorknob and prepared to pull it open. This was when the strange voice began speaking to him again.
