The breakfast was not that bad. Kai could eat the same things the other students were eating, and he also had access to a decent bathroom. The only thing different was that he could not leave the dungeon.
"How are you holding up kid?" One of the guards asked during the breakfast.
They were concerned about Kai. For them, he was only a teenager who should not be locked in a dungeon.
Kai was enjoying some eggs and bacon when he replied, "I'm doing alright. How's the investigation going? Any clues about who did it?"
It had been a day since the student called Edgar had died, and the entire school was still on edge trying to figure it out what had happened. The students were scared of leaving their rooms, and that was one of the reasons the classes were suspended for a while.
"Luke said he is following something, but he's only coming here during the night, so we will have to wait," the guard said.
